Second day in the big apple

I've just waken up and I find myself in my hotel room to write the post with some photos (a lot are missing) shot yesterday. The day started with an amazing American breakfast with scrambled eggs, toast and bacon :) I then went with other cool bloggers that I met yesterday like Maurizio , Jamie , Susie , Miguel to Industria Superstudio where we also met the winners of the Benetton competition, we watched the shootings and we've been interviewed (I also met Mr. Benetton :D ). The place was amazing: huge spaces with white walls where we shot each other and ate wasabi kitkat (bad choice!). On the afternoon I went shopping with Jamie on 5th avenue and Soho and I bought my dream bag: the Coco Duffel Bag by Alexander Wang, found at Barneys (thanks for the advice guys!). I'm also looking for a shop with Jeffrey Campbells shoes, ideas anyone? The rest of my shopping was all about accessories: I bought a lot of rings, necklaces and bracelets. At night we all went eating at the delicious Matsuri/Sake Room and then to bed, so tired. This morning I discovered that my flight has been cancelled so I have no idea when I'm gonna get home... I guess I'll have to stop here some more time :)

Appena svegliata mi ritrovo nella mia camera d'hotel a scrivere il post con alcune (ne mancano tantissime) foto scattate ieri. La giornata è cominciata con una favolosa colazione americana a base di uova strapazzate, toast e bacon :) Mi sono recata poi insieme ad altri fantastici bloggers conosciuti ieri tra cui Maurizio , Jamie , Susie , Miguel all'Industria Superstudio, dove abbiamo conosciuto i vincitori del concorso, abbiamo assistito agli shooting e siamo stati intervistati (ho anche conosciuto Mr.Benetton :D ). Il posto era stupendo: ampi spazi rigorosamente con pareti bianche in cui abbiamo scattato tra di noi e mangiato kitkat al wasabi (pessima scelta!). Di pomeriggio sono stata insieme a Jamie a fare un giro sulla 5th avenue e a Soho e finalmente sono riuscita a trovare la borsa dei miei sogni: la Coco Duffel Bag di Alexander Wang, scovata da Barneys (grazie per i consigli a tutti!). Sto cercando disperatamente un negozio che venda Jeffrey Campbells per prendere un paio tanto agognato, idee? Il resto del mio shopping è stato d'accessori: ho comprato tantissimi anelli, bracciali e collane favolosi!
Di sera siamo stati tutti insieme a mangiare sushi al delizioso Matsuri/sake Room e poi nanna, distrutti. Stamattina ho appena scoperto che il mio volo è stato cancellato, quindi non ho neanche idea di quando riuscirò a tornare a Milano... Mi sa che dovrò fermarmi qui ancora un pò :)
