I’m in love with vintage dresses

The positive thing about wearing vintage clothes is the sensation that some of them can give to you. Each time I decide to wear a dress which was from my grandma or mum i feel that shiver: memories impressed in my mind and in photos come out. I can feel the moments that those particular dresses experienced, I smile thinking about my thoughts as a kid seeing those pieces on them. And when I wear them I know I made the right decision, those aren’t only clothes. Does anybody feel the same? And good news about my summer vintage wardrobe: yesterday night my mum gave to me so many dresses and accessories that I can’t wait to show you.
These photos were shot on Monday night, just before going out for dinner with my friends. I let my hair dry in its natural way (get used to see me this way because I barely straighten it during summer) and I finally wore these H&M heels that were misteriously hidden in my wardrobe.

Il lato positivo di indossare abiti vintage è sicuramente la sensazione che alcuni di questi ti possono donare. Ogni volta che decido di mettere un vestito appartenuto a mia nonna o mia mamma sento quel brivido: riaffiorano i ricordi, impressi nella mente o in fotografie. Sento i momenti che quel capo in particolare ha vissuto, sorrido pensando ai miei pensieri di bambina vedendo quei vestiti su di loro. E quando li indosso so che ho fatto la scelta giusta, che quelli non sono semplici pezzi d’abbigliamento. C’è qualcun altro che la pensa come me? E buone notizie per il mio guardaroba vintage estivo: ieri sera in particolare mia miamma mi ha “concesso” tantissimi abitini ed accessori che non vedo l’ora di mostrarvi.
Queste foto sono state scattate lunedi sera, appena prima di uscire a cena con i miei amici. Ho lasciato che i miei capelli si asciugassero al naturale (abituatevi a vedermi cosi perchè in estate riesco a lisciarmi veramente raramente) e ho finalmente indossato anche questi tacchi di H&M presi a marzo che erano finiti misteriosamente in un’anta buia del mio armadio.
