Fifth day of MFW

A special Sunday, spent among 6 lovely fashionshows and two parties, definitely the day I enjoyed the most so far of this Milan fashion week.
The first fashionshow I attended was Marni, that I wanted to see for a long time. With the other classical elements of the brand we could also find colourful dresses with a “submarine-effect” (they don’t look cool said this way but they really are), lace, transparencies and a lot of sequins, and I could I not love their shoes and aviator hats?

Una domenica speciale, passata tra 6 stupende sfilate e due party, decisamente il giorno che ho preferito di questa fashionweek per ora.
La prima sfilata è stata quella di Marni, che desideravo vedere da tempo e che non mi ha delusa. Oltre ai classici elementi del marchio troviamo abiti colorati effetto muta da sub (detto cosi non sembrano il massimo ma vi assicuro che sono splendidi), pizzo, trasparenze e paillettes, e come non amare le scarpe e i cappellini da aviatore?

The second fashionshow was Byblos, in which I had a second row place but, despite of that, I still didn’t manage to take good photos :S The models had an androginous look and were wearing prints which made me think about the ones used in the last times of McQueen. I also fell in love with the shoes, so high and full of studs and chains

La seconda sfilata è stata quella di Byblos, alla quale avevo un posto seduta in seconda fila e nonostante ciò non sono riuscita a scattare foto decenti. Le modelle erano truccate in modo androgino ed indossavano stampe che mi ricordavano molto quelle usate negli ultimi tempi di McQueen. Mi sono poi innamorata delle scarpe, altissime e rigorosamente piene di borchie e catene

I then moved to my third fashionshow, Brioni, in which I was also able to shoot some backstage photos and also photograph the marvellous Bianca Balti who’s amazing in reality. I really liked the collection, dominated by horns worn as necklaces or bracelets and by the mixture of colours. Also in this collection we can find lace, transparencies and sequins, which will for sure remain as a trend of the next spring/summer.

Mi sono poi spostata verso la mia terza sfilata, quella di Brioni in triennale, alla quale sono anche riuscita a fare qualche foto di backstage ed immortalare anche la stupenda Bianca Balti che dal vivo è pazzesca. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la collezione, dominata da corni al collo ed alle braccia e da colori molto forti come il rosso e salmone abbinati al bianco o sabbia. Anche in questa collezione ritroviamo pizzo, trasparenze e paillettes, che si riconfermeranno come trend della prossima primavera/estate.

At 2 It was Dolce e Gabban fashionshow’s turn, one of the most exciting ones for me which left me speechless. Muse soundtrack was perfect and the fashionshow started with some black and white images of the last campaigns of the maison and some of the mediterran Italy, whose collection took inspiration from. Beautiful models walked with delicious silk or lace dresses, bustiers and jackets enriched by swarovski. The final was memorable: all the models walked together white-dressed without going back on the catwalk once at the end of it, but keeping walking next to the photographers. I can assure you I had shivers for the emotion while I was looking at the fashionshow.

Alle 2 è stato il turno della sfilata di Dolce e Gabbana, una di quelle per cui ero più entusiasta e che mi ha lasciata a bocca aperta. Oltre al sottofondo musicale dei Muse che mi ha elettrizzata la sfilata è iniziata con alcune immagini in bianco e nero raffiguranti le ultime campagne della maison e l’Italia mediterranea, a cui la collezione è stata piacevolmente ispirata. Bellissime modelle hanno sfilato con elegantissimi abiti di pizzo o seta, bustier e giacche impreziosite da swarovski. Il finale poi è stato memorabile: tutte le modelle hanno sfilato insieme vestite di bianco senza tornare indietro sulla passerella una volta arrivate alla fine, ma proseguendo di fianco ai fotografi fino a scendere dalla catwalk. Vi posso assicurare che mi sono i venuti i brividi dall’emozione mentre assistevo alla sfilata

I then ran, this time with Richi, to Missoni, fashionshow organized in via festa del Perdono at Università statale. This time I was placed in front row (yay), perfect position to shoot and make videos all the time. I really liked the collection and, as a true lover of the brand, I appreciated the difference of the patterns in dimensions and colours. I then had a crush on the shoes worn by all the models, with a short heel of a fluo colour.

Sono poi corsa, questa volta insieme a Richi, da Missoni, sfilata organizzata presso la sede di Via Festa del Perdono dell’università statale. Questa volta sono stata posizionata in prima fila (yay) , posizione perfetta per scattare e filmare a volontà. La collezione mi è piaciuta molto e, da grande amante del marchio, ho apprezzato le fantasie estremizzate sia come dimensione che come colore. Ho poi avuto un colpo di fulmine per le scarpe indossate da tutte le modelle, con un tacco basso di un colore fluo sempre diverso.

After the Missoni fashionshow I went to the Dolce e Gabbana store for the party whose guest was Naomi Campbell who was signing limited edition tees with Stefano and Domenico. Unluckily It wasn’t possible to take photos in the store, but i was given the possibility to chat again with Stefano (can’t wait to see the pic), Anna Dello Russo and Alessandra Ambrosio
I then went to my 6th and last fashionshow of the day, Aquilano Rimondi. I got to know the designers and took backstage photos and nice ones also during the fashionshow, thanks to the front row seat that was given to me also here Also in this fashionshow patterns on long dresses that make the legs visible. Loved the unusual colours mix too.

Dopo la sfilata di Missoni mi sono diretta verso il negozio di Dolce e Gabbana per il party il cui ospite d’onore era Naomi Campbell che firmava le tshirt in edizione limitata insieme a Stefano e Domenico. Sfortunatamente in negozio non era consentito scattare fotografie, ma mi è stata data la possibilità di fare quattro chiacchiere con Stefano (non vedo l’ora di vedere la foto), Anna Dello Russo e Alessandra Ambrosio
Mi sono poi diretta verso la mia sesta ed ultima sfilata del giorno, quella di Aquilano Rimondi. Anche qui sono riuscita a conoscere gli stilisti e a fare qualche foto di backstage oltre quelle durante la sfilata che sono venute discretamente bene, grazie anche al mio posto in prima fila anche qui Anche in questa sfilata fantasie su abiti lunghi che, tagliati lateralmente, fanno intravedere le gambe, protagoniste delle stagione primaverile/estiva. Favolosi anche gli insoliti abbinamenti di colori.

After spending 12 hours out of home from one fashionshow to the other one I also went to Bulgari hotel for the Bulgari party I was invited. It was the event for the new bag capsule collection made by Matthew Williamson for Bulgari. My favourite one? For sure the golden clucth, a dream. At the event there also was Rachel Bilson, very beautiful also in reality, even If I prefered not bothering her with photos
And today is the last big day of Milan fashion week, stay tuned

Dopo aver passato 12 ore fuori di casa tra una sfilata e l’altra ho fatto un salto al Bulgari hotel per il party di Bulgari a cui ero stata invitata. Si trattava infatti della presentazione di una nuova capsule collection di borse firmata da Matthew Williamson per Bulgari. La mia preferita? Sicuramente la clutch dorata, da sogno. All’evento era presente anche Rachel Bilson, carinissima anche dal vivo, anche se ho preferito non disturbarla con foto
