My Tiffany&co collection

I remember the first time I saw the famous “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, and at the same time I remember the first time I saw the “Please return to” necklace on a schoolmate of mine in America when I was 17. I remember the emotion I felt when I entered the Tiffany&co store in Milan for the first time and I spent the time dreaming about those jewels. I remember the joy I felt for my first purchase, for my 19th birthday. Each of the pieces I own have their own history: some of them were my boyfriend’s presents, some of them were “souvenirs” from the trips I had and some other ones have been “life mates”, walking with me each day at my wrists or at my neck.

Mi ricordo la prima volta che ho visto lo storico ed intramontabile “Colazione da Tiffany”, ed allo stesso modo ricordo la prima volta che ho visto la catenina “Please return to” al collo di una mia compagna di scuola in America quando avevo 17 anni. Ricordo l’emozione di quando sono entrata nel negozio di Milano la prima volta e ho passato il tempo ad ammirare quelle vetrine. Ricordo la gioia del mio primo acquisto Tiffany, per il mio 19esimo compleanno.
Ognuno dei pezzi che possiedo ha una storia: alcuni sono stati regali del mio ragazzo, alcuni sono stati “souvenir” dei viaggi che ho fatto e ad altri ancora sono stati miei compagni di vita, accompagnandomi ogni giorno al polso o al collo
