Do you remember when, one month ago, super excited I talked to you about the Alberta Ferretti fashionshow I would have taken part in? Well, as I anticipated you the fashionshow was last night, and It was one of the most touching events I’ve ever attended. In the wonderful deconsacrated church of Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence, with Elisa’s voice which warmed the atmosphere and made everyone’s eyes shine, 32 women went on the catwalk with dresses created by Alberta for the occasion to support the Jordan River Foundation cause, and I was one of them. Precisely the 15th on the schedule, the one that, after the catwalk was over, was shaking and had her eyes full of tears for the joy and satisfaction. The one that, just before starting, was sure to fall down the stairs cutting the sorry figure of the year, the one that, as a child, used to watch the fashionshows thinking that, sooner or later, she would have loved to be part of it. The one who, with a smile on her face, deleted the catwalk experience from her “things to try at least once in your life list” . The one who says thanks to you, still moved, for all the things that are happening, because it’s also thanks to you.

A special thanks to the Alberta Ferretti staff and to the wonderful people who stayed by my side and who’ll always stay, I would be lost without their words. And thanks to Richi, my family and my friends for always making me believe in love and affection, the only strenghts which never die.
Vi ricordate quando, un mese fa, emozionatissima vi avevo parlato del fashionshow di Alberta Ferretti in cui avrei sfilato? Bene, come vi avevo anticipato la sfilata si è tenuta ieri sera, ed è stato uno degli eventi più emozionanti a cui io abbia mai partecipato. Nella suggestiva chiesa sconsacrata di Santo Stefano al Ponte a Firenze, con la voce di Elisa che riscaldava l’atmosfera e faceva brillare gli occhi a tutti quanti, 32 donne hanno sfilato con abiti creati da Alberta per l’occasione a scopo benefico per la Jordan River Foundation, ed io ero una di loro.
Precisamente la quindicesima in scaletta, quella che, una volta finita la passerella, tremava come una foglia e aveva gli occhi pieni di lacrime dalla gioia e soddisfazione. Quella che, prima di cominciare, era convinta di cadere dalle scale e fare la figuraccia dell’anno, quella che da bambina guardava le sfilate e pensava che, prima o poi, avrebbe voluto prenderne parte. Quella che, con un sorriso, ha tolto dalla sua “lista di cose da fare almeno una volta alla vita” l’esperienza in passerella. Quella che vi ringrazia, commossa ancora ora, per tutto quello che sta capitando, perchè è anche merito vostro.

Un grazie particolare anche a tutto lo staff di Alberta Ferretti e a tutte le persone che mi hanno appoggiato e che mi appoggiano sempre, senza le cui parole sarei persa. E grazie a Richi, la mia famiglia e i miei amici per farmi credere sempre nell’amore e nell’affetto, le uniche forze che non muoiono mai.
