Walk in the West Village on Wednesday

Good morning guys! These days are going pretty well among fashion shows, events, meetings and presentations :) Yesterday I took part in the Gucci brunch, I went to lunch with the nine west staff and I attended the Rebecca Minkoff and Nicole Miller fashionshows, but I’ll talk to you about these events in tomorrow’s post. Today I decided to upload these photos shot last wednesday in the West Village area, just before going to Brooklyn for the Pennyblack shooting. While packing for these 10 days I tried to be careful and, for one of the first times in my life, to only bring with me stuff I really needed. Can you believe me If i say you I only brought 3 pairs of shoes for 10 days of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? Ok, my luggage also didn’t leave me any other choice.. :) Try to understand me If you see me wearing the same shoes more often than usual :D
Do you remember about my love for Magnolia? Well, also Angie shares the same cupcakes passion so that was the right place for our first NY breakfast.
In these days I found amazing places in the big apple I wanna share with you: another spot that I suggest you in the area is Caffè Minerva, in w 4th street, but also the various Marc Jacobs stores, the Steve Madden one, the Mulberry one and Intermix.
Today’s gonna be one of the fullest days here, I’ll also attend Philosophy fashionshow, I promise I’ll try my best with the reportage :)

Buongiorno ragazzi! Qui le giornate procedono molto bene tra sfilate, eventi, incontri e presentazioni :) Ieri ho partecipato al brunch di Gucci, sono stata a pranzo con lo staff di nine west ed ho assistito alle sfilate di Rebecca Minkoff e Nicole Miller, ma di questo vi parlerò nel post di domani :)
Oggi ho invece deciso di pubblicare queste foto scattate lo scorso mercoledi nella zona di West Village, una delle più caratteristiche di Manhattan a mio parere, appena prima di andare a Brooklyn per lo shooting di Pennyblack. Nel fare la valigia per questi 10 giorni ho cercato di essere attenta e, per una delle prime volte nella mia vita, di portare solo lo stretto necessario senza eccedenze. Ci credete se vi dico che ho scelto solo 3 paia di scarpe per questi 10 giorni di Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? Non che la mia valigia mi lasciasse altra scelta… :) Capitemi se vedrete spesso le stesse paia di calzature quindi :D
Vi ricordate del mio amore per Magnolia? Ebbene, anche Angie condivide la mia passione per i cupcake quindi il posto era quello giusto per la prima colazione a New York.
In questi giorni ho trovato posti fantastici che vi voglio assolutamente segnalare: altro spot che vi consiglio in zona è sicuramente il caffe Minerva, in w 4th street, oltre ai vari store di Marc Jacobs, al fornitissimo negozio di Steve Madden, al monomarca di Mulberry ed a Intermix.
Oggi mi aspetta una delle giornate più piene, in cui assisterò anche alla sfilata di Philosophy, prometto di fare del mio meglio con il reportage :)

The only bad thing about staying here in New York? I miss Richie and Matilda, but they make me laugh so much on skype calls :)

L’unico aspetto negativo dello stare qui a New York? Mi mancano Richi e Matilda, che però mi fanno morire dal ridere nelle chiamate su skype :)

    Those boots are divine!! I have been looking all over for them but can't find them anywhere in my size. It's mildly depressing. And great job for only bringing 3 pairs of shoes-I can never find a way to do that.

    Chiara…non ti capisco!
    A volte hai dei look semplici, ma che funzionano per eleganza e stile.
    Ma questo è il secondo look di New York che non mi piace. O meglio non è male, ma è banale…se ne vedono in giro un sacco di ragazze con magliettine/maglioni più o meno lunghi con questi, ormai visti e rivisti leggins.
    E non puoi usare come scusa il freddo…perchè non penso che quei leggins semitrasparenti tenessero molto caldo.
    Un po' di colore…una sciarpa particolare…un cappello vistoso….delle scarpe "speciali"…è questo che rende il look d'effetto pur essendo semplice alla base.
    Non dico che alla NYFW bisogna essere vestite bene, ma benissimo!!!!!
    Se non sbaglio è la prima volta che vai a questa FW, tira fuori un po' di stile.
    Capisco tu sia molto giovane…ma, quelle pcohe volte che hai osato, si è visto che un pantalone un po' più largo ad esempio rendeva il look d'alto livello.
