Ho contato nei precedenti commenti un numero molto elevato di gorgeous, stunning e amazing riguardanti la gonna. Evidentemente sono io in errore. Mi dispiace dover fare una critica, ma sai che ti stimo, Chiara, e che quindi è una critica costruttiva. Ci sono dei limiti all'originalità. Oltre questi limiti, perdonami, mi dispiace sul serio doverlo dire, c'è il ridicolo. Un conto poteva essere quando il tuo target era un mercato di giovanissime, un conto è adesso che sei una donna che quest'anno compirà 25 anni, e che ha grandissime prospettive nel mondo della moda per giovani donne, ma non troppo giovani. Perché rovinare un outfit con capi neri tutti così belli con quella gonna al neon? Tu hai una bellezza signorile, e hai buon gusto e originalità: quello che manca, secondo me, è il senso del limite. Si può essere originali sì, ma se si va oltre un certo limite non si è più presi sul serio, se non dai fedelissimi che direbbero stunning, gorgeous e amazing per qualunque scelta, ma poi se ne guarderebbero bene dall'andare in giro in centro con un accostamento tra il nero e il neon verde elettrico. Questo è un intervento costruttivo, spero che così lo intenderai.

Grazie a GvN per aver risposto al mio intervento! Giuro che non sapevo che il neon fosse di moda, ma questo rientra nel fatto che non mi intendo di trend femminili. Commento con occhi maschili di chi pensa a cosa piacerebbe veder indosso alla sua compagna. Sarà anche un trend, il neon, ma io ancora non ho visto nessuno in giro con indosso questi capi, se non qualche vigile urbano con giubbotti catarifrangenti. Forse di notte una gonna come questa può essere utile per non venir investiti da una macchina. Battute a parte, c'è un piccolo suggerimento che, da profano, mi permetto di dare a tutte coloro che vogliono proporre i loro outfits: più che trend-followers, dovreste aspirare ad essere trend-makers, produrre cioè una self-fashion del tutto nuova. Per fare questo ci vogliono certamente capi originali, ma che possano essere concretamente indossati non solo da poche elette, in contesti rari. Io credo che sarebbe un enorme salto di qualità.
Chiara, che tipo di obiettivo di macchina fotografica usi? Sei grande ispirazione per me :)

Devo dire che la gonna mi fa sorridere...mi ricorda il colore di certe felpe (con calzettoni abbinati) tanto in voga nei lontani anni '80. Proprio per questo motivo (e per raggiunti limiti d'età) non la porterei mai. Quello che invece proprio non mi piace sono le scarpe, non in assoluto, ma indossate sotto una gonna. Trovo che uno stivaletto così "tozzo" tagli anche la più lunga e sottile delle gambe. :)

I think you're rushing the season. This is a resort collection skirt, clearly made of a lightweight fabric, which makes it look odd paired with fur. Had the skirt been wool or neoprene even, it wouldn't look so odd. Also, I think the fit is off--it's worn too high on your waist, so the box pleats don't lie flat (making you look a bit pregnant) and the skirt is riding up in the front. You probably should have gone up a size and had it tailored to fit. I think this skirt will look great in warmer weather with a white tank and your maxi necklace from Dubai.

Ringrazio Aleph, e rispondo all'anonimo delle 2.40: secondo me questo blog ha un solido nucleo di lettori affezionati e di fan, che continuerebbe a seguirlo anche se fossero introdotte delle modifiche agli outfits che si rivolgessero ad un pubblico più vasto. Sarebbe bello e secondo me anche molto utile in termini di sviluppo e di stima nei confronti del blog, che la creatività di Chiara e delle persone che collaborano con lei trovasse il modo di convincere una nuova fetta di potenziali lettori, che abbiano gusti leggermente più sobri. Questo non significa passare al minimalismo alla Chanel, che è l'estremo opposto, ma cercare, negli abbinamenti, di far convivere l'originalità con la portabilità in contesti più normali. Io scommetto che i lettori raddoppierebbero, e magari si formerebbero delle "correnti" in grado di dibattere tra di loro e di scrivere commenti un po' più nutriti, più interessanti, rispetto ad una frase standard seguita immediatamente dall'indirizzo del blog dell'utente. Proprio perché io credo nelle grandi potenzialità di questo blog e sono disposto a pubblicizzarlo presso le tante persone che conosco e che si intendono di moda, suggerirei una strategia di ampliamento.
