New York fashionweek: day 6

Wednesday,sixth day of New York fashionweek, was frenetic and really full of emotions: at 9.30 am I already was at the first presentation of the day, Holmes&Yang, in which I had the pleasure to meet one of the main characters of my teen years favourite tv series, Dawson’s Creek, Katie Holmes. It then was the turn of Michael Kors fashionshow, who reinterpretated the 70s in a more feminine way and Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti, who used different patterns without giving up to her romantic touch. I then went to Elizabeth and James presentation, one of my favourite emerging brands (in which I saw again Olivia Palermo) and then I ran to Milly fashionshow, which suprised me with neon details on blazer and little dresses. The day finished with a photoshoot for V magazine and with a dinner in our room, since Richi and I were too tired to go to a fancy restaurant and fell asleep at 11 pm We definitely are not party people!

Mercoledi, sesto giorno di fashionweek newyorkese, è stato frenetico e proprio per questo ancora più emozionante : alle 9.30 del mattino ero già alla prima presentazione della giornata, Holmes&Yang, in cui ho avuto il piacere di conoscere una delle protagoniste del mio telefilm adolescenziale Dawson’s Creek, Katie Holmes. E’ stato poi il turno della sfilata di Michael Kors, che ha reinterpretato un mood anni ’70 e di Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti, che ha utilizzato tessuti diversi dal solito senza rinunciare al suo lato romantico. Sono poi stata alla presentazione di Elizabeth and James, uno dei miei brand emergenti preferiti (in cui ho rivisto Olivia Palermo), per poi correre da Milly, che mi ha sorpresa con inaspettati dettagli neon su blazer e vestitini. La giornata si è conclusa con un servizio fotografico per V Magazine, e con conseguente cena in camera invece che in un prelibato ristorante a causa della stanchezza che ha fatto crollare a letto me e Richi alle 11 di sera Non siamo proprio due persone da party!
