From my hotel room in London (and during a bittersweet moment) I’m posting you these photos from Thursday, our last day spent in New York for fashionweek which ended in a perfect way with Ralph Lauren fashionshow. On the catwalk a clear spanish inspiration, created by the embroidered details, typical hats and really vivid colours. One of those fashionshows which always leaves you breathless, especially during the usual standing ovation moment for Ralph Lauren in person, who thanks the “audience” smiling.
For the fashionshow I wore a Helmut Lang maxi skirt I haven’t been able to wear for too long, matching it with a cream tshirt and leopard scarf and belt.
Today I have different fashionshows to attend here in London, among them Toshop: you’ll be able to see it live on The Blonde Salad at 3 pm (English time). Let me know which are your favourite pieces!
Dalla mia stanza d’hotel a Londra (e con un po’ di malinconia) vi posto le foto di giovedi, ultimo giorno passato a New York per la fashionweek, conclusasi per me nel migliore dei modi con la sfilata di Ralph Lauren. In passerella un’evidente ispirazione spagnola, creata da dettagli ricamati, copricapi tipici, volumi ben definiti e colori più che mai vividi. Una di quelle sfilate che ti lascia sempre a bocca aperta e con i brividi, soprattutto durante l’usuale momento di standing ovation finale per Ralph Lauren in persona, che ringrazia il pubblico sorridendo entusiasta.
Per l’occasione ho indossato una maxi gonna di Helmut Lang che per troppo tempo non ero riuscita a sfruttare, abbinandola ad una tshirt dai toni crema e sciarpa e cintura leopardata.
Oggi in programma altre sfilate qui a Londra, tra cui quella di Topshop per cui sono particolarmente elettrizzata: anche voi potrete vederla live direttamente su The Blonde Salad alle 4 del pomeriggio (ora italiana). Fatemi sapere quali sono i vostri capi preferiti!

It can be so frustrating when you open your linen closet to get a set of bedsheets out and you end up spending the next 10 minutes trying to decipher if the sheets you grabbed are for your full size, queen size or king size mattress. Instead of easily grabbing what you need, you end up making a bigger mess in the closet! Not fun.:

Im sorry, I must be missing something. That skirt looks like a bed sheet wrapped around your waist, and what’s with your feet in the pic standing next to the car (17th pic down)? What an awkward pose!
