While I started writing this post I looked back to the one I posted yesterday, and couldn’t help but smile.
I’m experimenting different kinds of weather in these months: two days ago I was freezing in a snow storm in New York, yesterday I was for my first time on the beach in Miami. A city I’m starting to discover, which gave me a pleasant summer sensation in middle November.
After checking-in at Sagamore Hotel in South Beach Richi and I immediately visited the huge beach, had breakfast at News Cafe, walked hand in hand until South Pointe Park and visited the cuban area, Little Havana.
During our visit we also met Bob Votruba and his dog Bogart: they travel together for 9000 miles around United States to share a message of love for bullied kids. Read more about their project here, you won’t regret it. Enjoy Miami!
Mentre comincio a scrivere questo post guardo quello pubblicato ieri, di New York tutta innevata, e sorrido.
Sto sperimentando diversi cambiamenti climatici in questi mesi: proprio due giorni fa a New York gelavo sotto ad una tempesta di neve, ieri invece ero per la prima volta in spiaggia a Miami. Una città che sto cominciando a scoprire, che mi ha dato la piacevole sensazione d’inizio estate pur essendo a Novembre.
Dopo aver fatto il check-in al Sagamore Hotel a South Beach Richi ed io abbiamo subito visitato parte dell’immensa spiaggia, fatto colazione al News Cafe, passeggiato mano nella mano fino a South Pointe Park e visitato il quartiere cubano di Miami, Little Havana.
Durante i nostri giri abbiamo anche conosciuto Bob Votruba ed il suo cagnolino Bogart, che insieme viaggiano per 9000 miglia per gli Stati Uniti per diffondere un messaggio d’amore per i bambini vittime di bullismo. Leggete di più sul loro progetto qui, non ve ne pentirete. Enjoy Miami!
