My first flight of 2013 was to London, in which I spent 24 hours with the Kenzo team last week.
It all started with a visit of Kenzo store in Bruton Street, where I selected some of my favourite pieces of the spring/summer collection, including of course the new version of the tiger sweater.
After a fusion lunch we moved to Camden Town, where we visited Ron Arad’s studio, main character of Kenzo new fragrance, Madly Kenzo. The architect/designer from Tel Aviv designed the bottle of the new scent and, having the chance to talk a bit with him, I discovered part of his world and his inspirations, who come from everything that surrounds him.
After a walk in the centre of the English capital we enjoyed a dinner at Sketch, slept a couple of hours and ran to Milan with the first flight in the morning to avoid being stuck because of the snow storm.
For the day I opted for a super comfortable look: main character of the outfit was Minusey new black parka who kept me warm against the glacial cold of London.
I came back home with a giant smile, one of the coats of my dreams and a fragrance on my skin I can’t live without now, Madly Kenzo. I’m madly in love with it 
Il primo aereo del 2013 l’ho preso verso Londra, in cui ho trascorso 24 ore insieme al team di Kenzo la scorsa settimana.
Tutto è iniziato con la visita allo store di Kenzo in Bruton Street, dove ho selezionato alcuni dei miei capi preferiti della nuova collezione estiva, tra cui naturalmente non poteva mancare la nuova versione del maglione con la tigre.
Dopo un pranzo dal sapore fusion ci siamo spostati verso Camden Town, ospiti dello studio di Ron Arad, grande protagonista della nuova fragranza di Kenzo, Madly Kenzo. L’architetto/designer originario di Tel Aviv ha infatti disegnato per il brand la boccetta del profumo, e, scambiando quattro chiacchiere con lui, ho scoperto parte del suo mondo e delle sue ispirazioni, che provengono da qualsiasi cosa lo circondi.
Dopo un giro per il centro della capitale inglese ci siamo goduti una cena allo Sketch, per poi dormire qualche ora in hotel e scappare a Milano con il primo volo di venerdi mattina, prima di rimanere bloccati a causa della imminente tempesta di neve.
Per la giornata ho optato per un look ultra-comodo: protagonista dell’outfit il nuovo parka nero di Minusey che mi ha tenuta al caldo anche contro il vento gelido e le temperature polari di Londra.
Sono tornata a casa con un sorriso compiaciuto, uno dei cappotti dei miei sogni ed un profumo addosso di cui ormai non riesco a fare a meno, Madly Kenzo. Ne sono follemente rapita
