My first motorbike was my grey Vespa 125, that I received for my 16th birthday and with witch I used to have so much fun in Cremona, feeling like a grown up. Then other two vintage vespas arrived home: one became my dad’s and the second one my sister’s. When I moved to Milan, at 19, I lost the right to use my first Vespa, which became my youngest sister’s treasure in a second.
Ricky has always been a lover of big motorbikes and, since we met he’s always brought me around on his beloved Triumph Thruxton. We were thinking about getting a vespa for the couple for a long time: there’s nothing more comfortable to run from a meeting to the other one in the city, especially in hot months.
Our vespa arrived on Thursday and yesterday afternoon we tried it with all the family, Matilda included. Now we only need to find a name for “her” 
The satchel you see on Richi was one of my presents (a real selfish one I should say, since I can’t wait to wear it as well): I ordered it on Satchel company and it’s the perfect size to fit a macbook, ipad and camera 
and Richi absolutely loves his new leather satchel .
Il mio primo mezzo di trasporto da “adulta” è stato la mia Vespa grigia 125, che ho ricevuto per il mio 16esimo compleanno e con cui sfrecciavo nelle vie di Cremona sentendomi ormai grande. Poi sono arrivate in famiglia altre due Vespe, entrambe d’epoca: una è diventata di mio padre ed una di mia sorella Francesca. Quando mi sono trasferita a Milano, a 19 anni, ho perso il “diritto d’uso” della mia prima Vespa, che dopo poco tempo è diventata il tesoro di mia sorella minore, che l’ha accolta entusiasta.
Ricky è invece da sempre amante delle grandi moto, e da quando ci siamo conosciuti mi ha sempre portata in giro sulla sua amata Triumph Thruxton. Ormai da tempo volevamo prenderci una vespa “di coppia” da utilizzare qui a Milano: non c’è niente di più comodo per sfrecciare da un appuntamento all’altro in città, soprattutto nei mesi caldi.
La vespina è arrivata giovedi e ieri pomeriggio l’abbiamo finalmente “inaugurata” con tutta la famiglia, Matilda inclusa. Dobbiamo solo cercarle un nome
La cartella che invece vedete addosso a Richi è stato un mio regalo (piuttosto egoistico dovrei dire, visto che non vedo l’ora di usarla a mia volta): l’ho ordinata su Satchel company ed è della dimensione perfetta per portare con se computer, ipad e macchina fotografica e Richi adora la sua nuova borsa di pelle
