How to take care of your hands during winter: the best lotions and masks

Composit - Hands Care

There are days that are so cold that thinking of leaving the house seems impossible despite the layers of clothes, beanies, scarves and gloves. Days that put a strain on our hands, leaving them dehydrated and in desperate need of some pampering. Taking care of your hands in winter is not only a necessity but also a pleasant moment of relaxation. Where to begin? Here is our trusted routine of lotions and nourishing masks. And in the gallery, you’ll find our best ones!

Step 1: Scrub. Essential for the elimination of dead cells and the renewal of the first layer of skin. Always choose a very natural exfoliant featuring a hydrating formula. You’ll notice the difference at this first step already.

Step 2: Lotion. An obvious step you would say, but raise your hand if you do it at least once a day! Consistency is important, as the choice of the product that will make you want to use it often.  Our favorite ones are in the gallery below. We have a thing for special fragrances, but the other characteristic they must have is to be absorbed quickly, leaving the skin delicately scented.

Step 3: Gloves. Not the ones you use to go outside, but the moisturizing ones! A hand care shock treatment to incorporate in your evening beauty routine every time you feel the need to do so. After having applied your lotion, put on your gloves and go to bed! We promise that you won’t believe how soft your hands are the morning after. There are also ready-to-use disposable versions of these hand care gloves that you will just need to use as a regular face mask and voilà, it’s that easy!

Enjoy your soft hands! ;)

Thank you so much for sharing! My hands get incredibly dry during the winter months, and the only way I’ve kept them soft is with generous amounts of Vitamin E cream and Crabtree and Evelyn’s hand treatments <3 Can't wait to try some of those gloves as well :D
