Best view of Dubai

TheBlondeSalad-17284-copia

You understood it by now: I love skyscrapers and high buildings, especially when the view is so lovely. Here is why I really loved the restaurant in which we had lunch yesterday, Al Muntaha, at the last floor of Burj Al Arab. From that place it was easy to see Dubai “palm”, Palm Jumeirah, which ends with the giant Atlantis (that we visited today).

Dubay day 3: from the desert to the snow

TheBlondeSalad-17385-copia

What can I say? Everything can happen in Dubai it seems, also going from the desert to ski slopes :)
Here is how I spent my third day here: after a morning at Madinat Jumeraih and a lunch at the top floor of the iconic Burj Al Arab (photos and outfit soon) we changed clothes and left from the desert safari, which included a jeep ride on the dunes, dinner and show in the middle of the desert. We arrived back at the hotel at 9.30 pm and we decided to end the day in a proper way, going on a trip in the snow at the “Ski Dubai” at the Emirates Mall (malls here close at midnight from Thursday): so strange going from the outside temperature of 20° to the inside -2° and skiing and sleighing in the middle of Dubai at 11 pm.. It looks like nothing is impossible here!

S*uce store in Dubai

TheBlondeSalad-16804-copia

Before arriving to Dubai a lot of friends suggested me to visit the store S*uce at Dubai Mall, describing it with words like “unique” and “super colourful”. When I wrote on the blog and fanpage that I would have been in Dubai, the store itself asked me to visit it: I was breathless. Designers are from all over the world (a lot of them are locals) and the pieces are most of the time unique pieces. They have the best jewellery collection ever: maxi-necklaces and bracelets are incredible.. What did I chose to bring home with me? You can see them in the last photos :) What do you say? Which is your favourite one?

Dubay day 2

TheBlondeSalad-16587-copia

Second day in Dubai: we started with a walk on Jumeraih Beach Road, stopping at the famous vintage store “Bambah Boutique”, in the same building of the design concept store “The Zoo”, where I found my beloved friendship bracelets in fluo colours.
We then went again to Dubai Mall, invited to have a look at the wonderful S*uce store (that I’m gonna show you in next post in the afternoon), in which I found some cool unique pieces (one of them is the maxi necklace I was wearing in the Burj Khalifa photos). Since I’m a huge fan of high skyscrapers I couldn’t avoid visiting the Burj Khalifa: only problem? Tickets are usually sold one month in advance, especially in holiday time. Thanks to a sweet follower of the blog from Dubai, Hamda, everything was resolved: since she’s a resident of the Burj Khalifa she invited us to visit the skyscraper, taking us in all the private parts of the building (40th floor swimming pool=paradise), and then taking us to the 123rd floor (around 500 m high), from where we enjoyed the Dubai Mall fountains show. My followers are always the best :)
I was wearing Prada wedges, Asos neon jeans, Rada necklace, Proenza Schouler bag and Etrusca ring
P.S: Happy 19th birthday to my wonderful sister Valentina!
