It’s a fact: LA is loved by many, particularly by those who are into vintage. Boutiques, second-hand stores and big markets… we’ve chosen 5 spots you absolutely must visit if you’re in town.

Wasteland (7428 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046).
Located on Melrose, it has a wide selection of clothes, from Prada to Nike, through to the essential items for that all-American image. Not looking to buy but want to empty your closet instead? Well then this is the place for you because the owners are always looking for interesting pieces: recycling has never been so chic!
TBS ♥ : The collection of rock band t-shirts, letterman jackets and leather jackets. Seek and you shall find!

What Comes Around Goes Around (9520 Brighton Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90210).
Born in New York in 1993, its LA branch was only launched in 2008. What can we say: the store is almost like a little museum. The collection is great and you can find little gems, this is also the reason why it’s expensive.
TBS ♥ : The clothes, especially the military ones, but also the vintage Levi’s!

Jet Rag (825 N La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046).
Known for its large range of second-hand clothing, shoes and accessories, it’s the secret weapon of many stars in search of a retro touch (which is why it’s Gwen Stefani’s favourite LA store). Looking for a satin bomber jacket with a flower or tiger design on the back? Well, they have many of them here.
TBS ♥ : From wedding gowns to the perfect studded jacket: you can find fantastic second-hand items at affordable prices. Don’t underestimate their 1-dollar Sunday! Yep you heard right!!!

Melrose Trading Post (Fairfax High School 7850 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036).
A beautiful little market with over 200 stalls, where entry is only $3, here you really can find everything, objects and even furniture. It’s a unique experience that’s worth doing even if you don’t want to buy anything.
TBS ♥ : The friendly atmosphere and the possibility to barter on every stall. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you see… don’t forget to bring a good amount of cash if you want to buy: some of them don’t take cards!

The Way We Wore (334 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036)
Ok, you love vintage but you don’t want to do the dirty work of looking for collection items in and amongst a pile of clothes? Well in this place they do it for yo 😉  Often visited by many stylists, their offerings range from the ‘20s (the period in which they specialise) up to the late ‘90s.
TBS ♥ : The staff’s professionalism, impeccable selection and the fact that you can find items with labels explaining where the objects come from and their nature.
