It really seems like the upcoming season is gonna be the season of fashion documentaries! So many new releases and so many productions will make us fall in love with our fashion idols even more. Just to give you a few examples: the documentary about Manolo Blahnik, shoe guru, beloved by generations of fashionistas, and Carrie Bradhsaw’s guru, will be released in a few days. “Franca: Chaos and Creation”, a documentary about Vogue Italia’s director, at the helm of the magazine for years, is another interesting release that first showed at Venice Film Festival last year. The film was directed and written by Carla’s son Francesco Carrozzini, as a homage to his mother — an emblematic, beloved character.
So, if you feel you’re just not up to date with fashion-themed documentaries, or if you want to learn more about the fashion world, we collected the best, most interesting and inspirational documentaries about fashion right here, according to TBS Crew, of course. You can’t miss them!
