The veil is a simple and mysterious garment that could totally change the feel of your outfit, bringing back the hair accessory trend for Spring Summer 2015. There are many variants you can choose from and many ways to wear them, always with the same result: a chic and refined look, adding a playful touch with a touch of sensuality. We give you 5 ideas for the perfect match, now you only need to find the one that fits you best.

The veil and loose hair As Chiara did for the last Dior Haute Couture (check out her whole couture look here), combined with a monochrome suit, it shows an elegant, sensual and feminine style with masculine roots.

Veil and ribbon As we have seen for the Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Show: pulled back hair, with a low ponytail and half covered face makes you look extremely delicate and sophisticated.

The veil by itself  If you attend a glamorous evening you can choose a soft embroidered veil, which combined with a simple chignon will make you shine wherever you are. There is no need to exaggerate to be the star of the evening!

The veil as a mask During Chanel’s Couture show it gave a mysterious fairytale touch that made us go crazy, and it’s perfect if you want to wear it to add a little fashion drama to your day.

The veil over and under hats With your hair loose, in a braid or pulled back, this mix will give you the coolest look of all. You can create unlimited outfits: simple with a T-shirt and a pair of jeans, sporty with an overall and a bomber or even formal without losing the fun side of fashion.

  • Love all the veiled looks! Last fall I got myself a veiled rose headband from H&M and wore it to some fashion events. It was a hit! Plus I felt so mysteriously chic with it.
