To go to San Francisco we chose the longest way: could we avoid the feeling of driving on Pacific 1 (Pacific Coast Highway, Route 1), one of the most famous and spectacular highways of the world? We spent our 25th day of Coast to Coast driving on the coast, stopping to have lunch on the beach in Santa Barbara, walking in the city a bit and getting excited for the views we found on our way. It took us around 8 hours to complete our roadtrip (instead of the 6 hours of the other highway), and we arrived in San Francisco at midnight: I can definitely say It was worth it. It’s hard to find places like that.
For the day I wore the new tex-mex shirt I found in Santa Fe, entirely handmade from a New Mexico designer: after I saw it in the window of a store while I was going to have dinner I immediately fell in love with it. Useless to say I was in that store the next morning to try it on. You probably have already understood the rest of the story 🙂

  • There are some interesting points in that clause but I dont know if I see all of them eye to centre . There is some validness but I will take hold legal opinion until I look into it further. Good clause, thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner besides.

I’ve been following your Coast to Coast and I had a feeling you were going to stop in SB. I am a Santa Barbara Native and local. By the looks of it you stopped at one of my fave spots for breakfast down at Henry’s Beach. Kinda bummed I missed you! I love the outfit you picked for your coastal drive. The 1 is so beautiful. I’ve taken it myself to San Fran. What a drive. As always, you look fabulous. I really like your personal style and look forward to your posts. Have fun in SF!

The western style shirt is great ( very Isabel Marant cowgirl style) I just wonder if you’ll ever wear it again in Milan? And I too want to know how you packed all those handbags and shoes in a single bag (and carry-on) or did Richi give you some space in his bag as well?
