First post from New York, where I spent 48 hours before flying to Los Angeles (where, this time, I should be able to stay for almost three weeks), mainly for one of the sexiest events of the year: Victoria’s Secret fashionshow.
Victoria’s angeles were not my only events in these crazy days in New York: on Tuesday night I attended the Isabel Marant pour H&M event (I’m wearing in these photos my favourite sweater from the collection), and on Wednesday morning I went to visit my friends from Lxr&Co, vintage curators from the famous estore and Beverly Hills store, who opened a pop-up store in the centre of Soho, at 112 Wooster St.
The biggest vintage bag collection and the Birkin-Bar made my visit very pleasant, which ended with a difficult decision about the bag to bring with me to California. Thanks to your advice on Instagram I made my choice: this 2.55 double flap Chanel bag with silver harware that you can see in these photos and a maxi Kelly bag. Go check the store If you happen to be in New York, It really is worth it and the store is open until December 31st 🙂

  • My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about
a year and am nervous about switching to another platform.
I have heard very good things about blogengine.net.

Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

Because I don’t have a blog to push, I can say the truth. Chiara, your style is usually amazing but this outfit is so hideous that even you can’t pull it off.

Wow! Can’t believe LXR&Co would give you a Chanel bag that costs $2,500 on their website. Did they give you the $15,000 Hermes Kelly bag as well? The Hermes is beautiful but I can’t justify the price at all. Please keep in mind that now that you have a US work Visa, all these “gifts” are viewed by the government as taxable income. How many Chanel bags do you have now? And I know you have at least two more Kellys. Really hope you’re investing some of this money you’re earning now in something more lucrative than the contents of your closet.

  • I had a peek at the Isabel amaranth collection and I love the cardigans and sweaters. I knew you would go for the Kelly one. The Victorias Secret show was spectacular and all the models looked stunning

  • Love the givenchy booties and you’re rocking those Isabel Marant pour H&M knitted piece. I’d defo go for Hermes in this case! Definitely!! Chanel is always good and yummy, but a Kelly and Birkin is FOREVER. Btw, I just bought the cobalt blue runway ACNE STUDIOS marble vanity clutch, it has an emoticon on it and it’s super adorable, I think your quirky fun style would like it. #CheckItOut
