JJ Magazine Japan

Last November, while I was in Tokyo to work for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, I was asked to pose for the japanese JJ magazine, did you remember about it? Here is the result: 2 pages in the March issue :)
A big thanks to a wonderful country like Japan is: hope to come back to Tokyo very soon :) Thank you JJ Magazine!

Shooting for JJ magazine and last day in Tokyo

Here is how I spent last Monday, my fifth and last (unfortunately) day in Tokyo. The morning was dedicated to the shooting for the JJ japanese magazine which, thanks to the perfect japanese organization, also finished one hour before the schedule. Hair and makeup was done by a wonderful team in my hotel room: It has never happened to me before to have my hair and makeup done with such a beautiful view :)
The one you see in photos is the first of 3 looks I created for the shooting: I was wearing a total black with sequined golden blazer, the new Mulberry Bayswater found the day before at Ragtag and the vernis Louboutin, that I exchanged with flats for the afternoon.
After a sushi lunch in a typical restaurant (Thanks Kenta for the advice!) and a last trip in Shibuya, Carolina and I were invited to the Murua showroom, a beautiful japanese brand for which Carolina modeled last year. I met the staff who also liked our tshirts (go WERELSE!), I admired their new collection and I got a lovely long blazer, that I wore for the night.
Last dinner in Tokyo couldn’t take place in any other place than Gonpachi, which inspired Quentin Tarantino for the famous fight scene at the restaurant in Kill BIll (one of my favourite movies). I really hope to be back in Tokyo soon, It gave me such strong feelings.

Vogue Fashion’s Night Out in Tokyo

The main reason of my visit to the wonderful Tokyo was the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out on the 5th November: I was one of the official blogger of the day, also called Ultrabloggers :) The experience was absolutely positive: we got all together at 11, starting our visits from the new Costume National concept store, and then to all the other boutiques to meet editors, designers and followers of the blog who filled me with smiles :) Omotesando was fulll of people, all the stores had limited edition pieces or different kinds of animation: an experience which left me speechless. And japanese people look like they’re from another world: all so nice, polite, positive and emotional. At night we were invited to the Michael Kors party at the American embassy, with a live performance by Jennifer Hudson… Carolina, Mattias, Richi and I then ended the night with a drink at the New York bar at Park Hyatt, from the movie “Lost in translation”… Oh Tokyo!
