Palazzo-Versace-Hotel_Dubai_Night-ViewA few weeks ago, Versace announced the opening of the new Palazzo Versace in Dubai, the second hotel of the House to open after the one located on the Australian coast. A luxurious complex that boasts 215 rooms, 65 of which are suites with areas and furniture entirely designed under the artistic direction of Donatella Versace. For quite some time now, designers have ventured in the hospitality industry and, unsurprisingly, they all offer 4-star or higher luxury hotels. Rates are in line with the standards but if you wish to sleep in a bedroom created by your favorite designer for once in your life, trust us: the price will be definitely worth it! Here are the hotels and suites we love most.

Hotel Missoni Kuwait (also known as Symphony Style Hotel). Arabian Gulf Road, Salmiyah, 22012, Kuwait. This hotel, located on the Gulf shores, boasts an amazing view. Rooms as well as common areas are mostly painted with the vibrant colors that distinguish the Italian maison. A safe and colorful haven immersed in the heart of Saudi Arabia.

Armani Hotel (Via Manzoni 31, Milano). Italian excellence enclosed within the walls of a hotel. This is the prerogative that distinguishes this product designed by Armani, featuring meticulously decorated interiors combined with the elegance that has always been attributed to King Giorgio. The Milan complex (located right downtown, in the heart of the fashion district) became a point of reference for foreigners who love to be guests of the hotel as well as for locals who recognize its qualities and appreciate its restaurant and club.

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Bali (Jalan Goa Lempeh Banjar Dinas Kangin, Uluwatu, Bali 80364, Indonesia). Let’s admit it, this resort is an absolute dream! Featuring a breathtaking view on the Indian Ocean, it’s considered one of the world’s most beautiful Resorts. The walls of the building are embellished with a very precious local white coral and they surround a restaurant, bar, wellness center and private beach! What is there to add?

Dior suite at St. Regis New York (Two East 55th street at Fifth Avenue, NYC). This time we’re in the Big Apple and the Dior Suite is a true gem in the city. The top of the class of the French atelier, whose white and grey represent the predominant colors and where books and paintings inspired to the maison enhance the design of the living room and bedroom. As if it wasn’t enough, in the morning you will be greeted with a wonderful view overlooking Central Park and the Fifth Avenue.

Hotel Lungarno Firenze (Borgo San Jacopo 14, Firenze). One of the first Fashion Designer hotels in Italy, located in one of the world’s most poetic cities, the Hotel Lungarno in Florence is owned by the Ferragamo family. Once you cross the threshold of this hotel, you find yourself immediately surrounded by true Italian history, elegance and hospitality. Its location on the shores of the Arno River and the view on the Ponte Vecchio add to its magic. Who doesn’t dream of sleeping, at least once, in the city where Dante used to walk around and draw inspiration for his masterpieces!?

Diane von Furstenberg suite at Claridge Hotel (Brook Street, London W1K4HR). The suite created by the Belgian designer is situated in this hotel in the heart of London. This incredible room is also known as “The Grand Piano Suite” because of the instrument Diane wanted to add to the room. Its distinctive design? Not quite minimal, but definitely unique. Zebra rugs, decorated curtains and purple spotted sofas: welcome to the fantastic world of DVF!

Odyssey by Karl Lagerfeld at Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo (4 rue de la Madone, Monaco). How could we leave out of our top 10 the touch of the man who represents the emblem of International fashion? Unthinkable: here’s the Odyssey, a wellness space located inside a hotel in Monaco, entirely designed by Lagerfeld. Besides an incredible swimming pool, the space also features a food area whose walls are covered by 15 Pompeian-style panels, personally researched and selected by the great designer.

L’Hotel du Petit Moulin (29/31 rue de Poitou, Paris). Very central and well connected, this hotel is the result of the genius of great French designer Christian Lacroix, who made of this building one of the most peculiar hotels of the Ville Lumière. All rooms and suites feature a different and truly amazing design: entirely decorated, from columns to carpets and bathrooms with a style that combines modern and retro. Wow!

Suite Schiaparelli at The May Fair Hotel (Stratton St. London). This suite located in downtown London is a tribute to one of last century’s most influential fashion designers: Elsa Schiaparelli. Who decides to stay here, will be immediately immersed in the surreal world of Elsa. Everything is meticulously inspired to her style and her vision of fashion. The interiors feature strong and bold colors like black, gold and, of course, fuchsia, her favorite one. Did you know she was the first designer to use this color in the Haute Couture? Dream Pink!
