Composit - Skincare CelebsWhenever we talk about cosmetics, we are used to see celebrities as testimonials. Their amazing skin, and their enviable beauty routines entice us to go shopping, hoping to look like them at least a little, after trying on the next cream. *Insert celebrity name*’s beauty secret – is basically the new black! Some celebrities have decided to break the rules of the game, though, and started working on marketing products that they really love, because they designed the line themselves, and made them real. Here are 5 celebrities and their skin care lines you should know, and maybe try out!

Miranda Kerr: Kora Organics. This product line was created keeping the importance of everything organic in mind. Everyone knows organic is not just good for the body, but also for the spirit. One of the best known Angels, Miranda is famous for caring about her lifestyle: she goes for a relaxing life close to nature, that gives her the energy to tackle any professional challenge. In line with Miranda’s values, Kora is organic, vegan and cruelty-free.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Goop. Gwyneth developed multiple skin care products together with Juice Beauty — a guarantee for quality! — and named these products after her blog. The focus here is on high-tech formulations which ensure immediate results, as well as consistent improvements in the long run. The minimalist packaging has the same esthetic sensitivity as every other Goop project, in which form also matters. We love it!

Jessica Alba: Honest Beauty. A sister company of Honest Company, Jessica Alba’s kid- and home-focused consumer goods company, Honest Beauty has both skin care products and makeup. Again, the focus here is on natural ingredients, with the added special care for diversity. Jessica wants to gift all women, no matter their ethnicity, a special moment for themselves, which in her own words is the essence of what she defines being “honestly beautiful.”

Josie Maran: Josie Maran Cosmetics. This line, and its former supermodel creator’s story, is pretty simple. During her career, a crazy amount of products were applied onto Josie’s skin, and she was surprised by what makeup artists would tell her about the ingredients used in these products. Toxic chemical ingredients seemed to be found even in the most respected brands, which is why Josie Maran’s line focuses on nature, and Argan oil, sustainably sourced in Morocco by women’s cooperatives. Her motto is “Luxury with a conscience.”

Cindy Crawford: Meaningful Beauty. This line is also the result of a collaboration, between Cindy and Dr. Sebagh, who helped develop The Youth Messenger, the active ingredient of the products of this line. The pair’s mission is simple: helping all women, including Cindy, tackle aging with a precious ally that can stop time, at least on your face, and can gift all women with youthful radiance.
