As the last outfit from Paris here is for you, going back, the outfit I wore for my first day in Paris, last Sunday. These photos were shot just before shooting for Moda Operandi, before running to Kenzo fashionshow and Dior party.
I wore for the first time other two pieces of the capsule collection we designed: Werelse for Mango: the plexiglass heel pointy shoes and neon bag, mixing them to a black look with Msgm shirt.
Kenzo show was totally different from the last I’ve been to: that time was in march and Antonio Marras still was the creative director. Now that Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are designing the collection It seems that a new fresh wind hits the brand. I was really impressed by the location of the show: inside a really huge hall (the one of the Pierre and Marie Curie University), the models catwalked in a jungle of neon floors and escalators. Colors were really bright and the shapes recalled some trends of the season: fitted jackets and wheel skirts.
Come ultimo outfit da Parigi ecco, tornando indietro, il look che ho indossato il mio primo giorno nella capitale francese, domenica scorsa. Le foto sono state scattate appena prima della registrazione del video per Moda Operandi, per poi scappare alla sfilata di Kenzo ed al ballo di Dior.
Ho indossato per la prima volta altri due accessori della linea che abbiamo disegnato, Werelse for Mango: le decollete con tacco in plexiglass e la borsa neon, abbinandole ad un look nero con camicia Msgm.
La sfilata di Kenzo è stata totalmente diversa dall’ultima a cui avevo partecipato: allora Antonio Marras era ancora il direttore creativo. Ora che Humberto Leon e Carol Lim disegnano la collezione sembra che un nuovo vento fresco abbia investito il marchio. Sono rimasta davvero colpita dalla location della sfilata: dentro una hall grandissima (quella dell’Università Pierre e Marie Curie), le modelle hanno sfilato in una giungla di piani al neon e scale mobili. I colori erano davvero luminosi e le forme richiamavano alcuni trend della stagione: giacche aderenti e gonne a ruota.
