Oscar 2016: best looks + summary of the night

Less talk: the 88th edition of the Oscars will be remembered as the night of Leonardo DiCaprio! OnFebruary 28th, 2016, in fact, the most beloved actor of his generation, finally won the golden statue for Best Actor with the movie The Revenant. Everyone was waiting for the moment when DiCaprio walked on stage to receive the award; excited but clear headed, the actor addressed an important speech, in which he talked about climate change, an issue close to his heart (his official Instagram profile is in fact dedicated to this issue). Many asked themselves if DiCaprio should have won an Oscar for this movie, when his past roles were certainly more worthy. However, we are very happy for him and we consider him as a sort of a Lifetime Achievement Award that pays tribute to his amazing talent. Last night’s evening was full of important moments, like the award for Best Actress received by Brie Larson (The Room), for Best Supporting Actress by Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl) a very much deserved one for the Best Soundtrack to the Italian Ennio Morricone for The Hateful Eight. Well, It was an unforgettable night for many reasons…and one of them is style! Both on the red carpet that at the different parties celebrating the Oscars, we saw some truly wonderful looks!
