However, it is important not to forget that the first jumpsuits were work clothes, while the one designed in 1940 by the founder of maison Schiaparelli – the shelter-suit – was equipped with a belt, pockets and trousers with elastic at the ankle. A few decades later, in 1970, French designer Yves Saint Laurent<\/strong> <\/a>created a new model with long sleeves and palazzo trousers, a more chic and elegant garment.<\/p>\n
