Does art imitate life or does life imitate art? The cast of Glee<\/strong> probably ponders this dilemma every day because since the famous TV series created by Ryan Murphy<\/strong> ended in 2015, there have been a number of events that have in fact continued to make people all over the world talk about its protagonists. The most recent-and certainly “juiciest” news concerns Lea Michele<\/strong>, the unforgettable Rachel Berry, who is now engaged on Broadway in the musical Funny Girl, a role that Berry herself has dreamed of playing from the first episode of the series up to a certain point in the fifth, when she succeeded.<\/p>\n

In July of this year it was announced that Michele would take Beanie Feldstein’s place in Funny Girl, and on September 6 she made her debut as Fanny Brice: a success with audiences and critics-six standing ovations on opening night-that redeemed Lea Michele’s image, which had fallen out of favor during Black Lives Matter<\/strong> because of some criticism on Twitter by Samantha Ware, a former Glee colleague-actually featured in only a few episodes of season six. Amid accusations and apologies not entirely shared by the people on social media, it emerged that the actress at the time of Glee’s set had engaged in a series of unkind attitudes toward some of her colleagues amid tantrums and unnecessary divisiveness.<\/p>\n
