The French fashion house’s iconic bag, which owes its name to the Parisian street Rue Neuve-des-Capucines-where Monsieur Louis Vuitton opened his first boutique in 1854-reveals its chameleon-like nature and becomes a canvas for the likes of Daniel Buren, Kennedy Yanko, Park Seo-Bo, Am\u00e9lie Bertrand, Peter Marino, and Ugo Rondinone.<\/p>\n
In carrying forward the astonishing creativity of the first three Artycapucines chapters, the design of the nine bags highlights the collection’s aptitude for blending artistic talent and inventiveness with the ingenuity and skill of the Maison’s master craftsmen. The last chapter outlines Daniel Buren’s double trompe-l’oeil motif, for the first time in four color variations; Kennedy Yanko’s creation made of 3D-printed leather with a metallic patina hand-applied by artisans; and one of Park Seo-Bo’s signature \u00c9critures paintings, extraordinarily recreated in textured and decorated calfskin; Am\u00e9lie Bertrand’s dazzling vision with hand-painted spray paint in an innovative way on the bag with iridescent and fluorescent colors; Peter Marino’s visually striking total black studded creation proposed by Peter Marino with an unexpected clasp; and Ugo Rondinone’s fun and enchantingly colored harlequin-style bag covered with more than 14. 000 hand-sewn beads.<\/p>\n
