Bottega Veneta<\/strong><\/a> will be in Miami with an exhibition, an artist’s conference with artist Gaetano Pesce and a limited edition book. This collaboration focuses on the artist’s chairs from the collection Come stai?<\/em><\/p>\n

These works of art pay homage to diversity and humanity. So Bottega Veneta<\/a>, creative director Matthieu Blazy<\/strong>, and Gaetano Pesce<\/strong> tell all in an unprecedented limited edition publication that chronicles the birth and evolution of this project between fashion and design. Inside the book is an extensive selection of photographs by Stephen Shore and illustrations by Sander Muylaert.<\/p>\n

\n“This chair is a tribute to diversity. It is about being human; we are all different. People who say we are all the same – screw them! We are all different and that is our distinctive quality, otherwise we are just a copy. We are all original and this is one of the themes of my project.”<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

The dialogue between designer Blazy and artist Gaetano Pesce began last September, however, when the latter was asked to create a temporary site-specific artwork as a set for the Italian fashion house’s Spring Summer 23 fashion show. Thus the entire show space was set up with as many as 400 brightly colored resin chairs as a true extension of Bottega Veneta’s signature imagery.<\/p>\n

Today, however, right on the occasion of Design Miami, the collaboration between these two realities continues. In fact, all the chairs Come stai? signed by Gaetano Pesce will be shown inside the fair, displayed and available for possible purchase on and offline.<\/p>\n

So just yesterday a hypnotic campaign was launched to communicate this news. Absolute protagonist is Kate Moss, who – without veils – in a picture and video poses naked on one of these chairs with the Bottega Veneta logo drawn by hand.<\/p>\n
