“The Art of Fashion. The Age of Dreams and Revolutions, 1789 – 1968<\/strong>” is a major exhibition conceived and realized by the Fondazione Cassa dei Risparmi di Forl\u00ec that will be held at the San Domenico Civic Museum from March 18 to July 2, 2023. The exhibition, directed by Gianfranco Brunelli and curated by Cristina Acidini, Enrico Colle, Fabiana Giacomotti and Fernando Mazzocca, recounts the relationship between art and fashion through three centuries, from the 18th to the 20th century. A true tale, including paintings, sculptures, accessories, period and contemporary clothes from important national and international museum institutions.<\/p>\n Among the artists, designers and fashion houses featured we will find Tintoretto, William Hamilton, George Romney, Francesco Hayez, Silvestro Lega, Telemaco Signorini, James Tissot, Giovanni Boldini, Vittorio Corcos, Henry Matisse, Giacomo Balla, Piet Mondrian, Umberto Boccioni, Giorgio de Chirico along with Charles Frederick Worth, Ventura, Mariano Fortuny, Paul Poiret, Coco Chanel, Germana Marucelli, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, John Galliano for Dior, Gucci, Tom Ford, Cristobal Balenciaga.
