Some say it’s the new choker<\/strong>: the accessory of the moment is not around our necks, but around our ankles! We’re talking about anklets<\/strong>, a kind of jewellery that’s been around since the times of Ancient Egypt. Anklets<\/strong> have always decorated female bodies in summer, giving it a fresh, exotic touch — have you ever noticed how it’s an essential in oriental dancers’ outfits?
\nChiara has a collection of ankle bracelets<\/strong>, and when we went to Puglia, she also bought one made of strings and beads. Anklets<\/strong> also have fans among top models, such as Lily Aldridge<\/strong> and Behati Prinsloo<\/strong>, who wear identical ones when they are out together. Anklets were also spotted on the catwalk shows of Chlo\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0and Calvin Klein<\/strong>. It’s definitely a summer trend, but who says you can’t also wear one in winter?
