Il Visconte Anthony Bridgerton è ancora tema caldo. Lo dimostra la serata organizzata da Brunello Cucinelli con una Summer Dinner ricca di ospiti internazionali tra cui Taron Egerton, James Cusati-Moyer e proprio Jonathan Bailey l’attore protagonista della fortunata serie Netflix Bridgerton.
Jonathan Bailey è diventato un vero friend of the brand subito dopo il successo della prima stagione, incarnando in pieno lo stile da gentleman del marchio toscano.

Inizia a esprimere il suo interesse per la recitazione a soli 5 anni dopo aver visto a teatro Oliver!, il musical tratto dal romanzo di Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist. A 7 anni arriva la prima parte, era il piccolo Tim in Il Canto di Natale della Royal Shakespeare Company. A 14 anni il debutto ufficiale e poi ha lavorato in alcune serie tv inglesi, da Leonardo della BBC nel 2011, a Broadchurch (2013) fino a diventare un pupillo di Phoebe Waller Bridge. Il primo grande riconoscimento arriva nel 2019, per la sua interpretazione in Company di Stephen Sondheim andato in scena al West End, con cui si aggiudica il Laurence Olivier Award.
Ma è con il ruolo del Visconte Anthony Bridgerton che Jonathan Bailey raggiunge il successo mondiale e la consacrazione, la seconda stagione della serie Netflix prodotta da Shonda Rhimes è dedicata interamente a lui. Richiestissimo dai marchi della moda e sui red carpet più esclusivi, Bailey è schivo alla vita mondana e molto riservato sul suo privato, ma le rare apparizioni sul tappeto rosso lasciano il segno.
