Wednesday, 20th day of our Coast to Coast: we got our cars again and, this time in 11 people (4 friends joined us in Las Vegas for the last part of the trip) we started our roadtrip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, where we’re spending five days before our final stop, San Francisco.
I convinced the other guys to have lunch between the two cities, in the wonderful Peggy Sue’s: I found out about this 50s diner some years ago and, in December 2009 I had there one of the famous pies with Richi on our way to celebrate our third anniversary in Las Vegas. Being again in this place in summer and with some of my closest friends made the experience even more special.

is a great place to go with your family or for a business lunch or dinner, but if you are looking for a party atmosphere, this isn’t it. The decline of the East side blues scene was disheartening, but, it also gave rise to the need for a fresh start, which came in the form of the next blues-only venue, Antone’s,
founded by the late Clifford Antone, during the summer of 1975.

  • Hi Chiara,

You look so happy to finally be in LA–I love living here!

I would love you to be my guest to show you all the cool little restaurants and places with the true LA vibe that newcomers and tourists don’t necessarily know about! Two of my favorite places you must visit are: Creatures of Comfort on Melrose (fashion) and Fig and Olive on Melrose Place (restaurant)!! Opening Ceremony is a must visit as well!!!!

    All the best,

First of all i love your blogg, style and of course Mathilda!! But i noticed that whenever you should use “with” you use “in”. Example: “Wednesday, 20th day of our Coast to Coast: we got our cars again and, this time in 11 people”. I don’t think you’re IN 11 people hahah that’s a lot;) Just trying to help!!
Have a fun there in the USA!! <3

    Reply to Fauve
