One of the dearest memories I have from my weekends and Sunday with my family, as a kid, was my dad watching Moto Gp in tv, commenting the riders, the route, the overtakes. All I know about motorbikes I learnt it from the big men of my life, all super passionate about them: I was more than happy riding my own Vespa.
I would have never thought I could attend Moto Gp final race in the box, in the grid, talking with the biggest riders in the world.
This all happened this past weekend: Gas brought me and Richi (now also called #theroadtripman because of his solo motorbikes crazy travels) to Valencia for this amazing finale.
I suddenly found myself supporting the youngest rider, Marc Marquez, 20 years old, who won the championship, among our screams and happiness tears. Impossible to describe.
Uno dei ricordi più belli che ho del weekend e soprattutto della domenica in famiglia, da bambina, era mio padre che guardava il Moto Gp in televisione, commentando i vari sorpassi, piloti e percorsi. Tutto quello che so delle moto l’ho ereditato dai grandi uomini che mi sono stati vicini, tutti appassionatissimi di due ruote: io mi limitavo a guidare felice la mia Vespa.
Mai avrei pensato di poter assistere alla finale del Moto Gp in prima persona, nei box, nel grid, a contatto con i più grandi piloti del mondo.
Ebbene anche questo è successo proprio il weekend appena passato: Gas ha portato me e Richi (ormai anche detto #theroadtripman per i suoi viaggi assurdi in solitaria in moto) a Valencia per questa meravigliosa finale.
Di colpo mi sono trovata a tifare come una pazza per il più piccolo in gara, Marc Marquez, che a soli 20 anni ha vinto il titolo mondiale, tra le grida emozionate di tutti quanti. Semplicemente pazzesco, decisamente indescrivibile.
