From Korea with love: splash masks. What they are, and how they work.

Composit MaskWill Korea ever run out of incredible beauty product ideas? As long as that doesn’t happen, you can be sure you’ll know where the next, coolest beauty craze on the market will be from. After sheet masks and cushion products, now is the time for splash masks. What are they, you ask? Calling them masks, in a traditional sense, would be most imprecise: the way you apply them will remind you a lot more of Korean essence or a tonic. Splash masks are an evolution of the ancient Korean custom of treating the face with rice water, which was rich with antioxidants, and therefore very beneficial for the skin. These masks include lots of natural antioxidants, as well as lactic acid for scrubbing and glycerine to moisturise. Basically, it’s like going through a micro-peeling process: it will be enough to apply a small amount of the product on your face, and go on to pat it for about 10-15 seconds, then rinse it with water. And, voila! Your face will be fresh and like new in no time: the perfect solution to prepare your skin for a special event, and a good way to save time in your daily life, if you have limited time for your beauty routine. Are you curious now? Have a look at the gallery to find out where to get these masks. And have fun trying them out!
