‘Legally Blonde‘ fans went wild with Amazon’s announcement of the highly anticipated prequel series based on the beloved hit. The news was revealed by an extraordinary Reese Witherspoon, star of the two films, alongside the creative mind behind the show, Laura Kittrell. During Amazon’s eagerly awaited presentation, Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon’s MGM Studios, announced the series with great fanfare, with a special surprise on stage: Bruiser, Elle Woods’ adorable four-legged companion.

Titled ‘Elle,’ this series takes us back to the fabulous ’90s to uncover the secrets of Elle Woods’ teenage years in high school. The project has been kept under wraps until now but has been in development since early April. Witherspoon, through her production company Hello Sunshine, will be the creative force behind the scenes as executive producer, joined by Laura Kittrell (renowned for her work on ‘Insecure’ and ‘High School’), alongside Lauren Neustadter and Lauren Kisilevsky of Hello Sunshine, and Marc Platt, the mastermind behind the ‘Legally Blonde’ films.
