The 5 best SPAs in Milan

Composit -SPAFashion Week is almost here! It’s a hectic time in the city and it’s the right time to think about a – well deserved – relaxing break. In order to make your choice easier, we’ve tried for you the 5 best SPAs in Milan, where we suggest you stop to find your calm and peace again!

Shiseido SPA Milan. Walk inside the Gallia Hotel (piazza Duca d’Aosta, 9) and take the elevator up to the 6th floor: you won’t believe your eyes. Behind the sliding doors, hides a in true Shiseido-style kingdom of pure wellness. Signature treatments are a must-try, we tried the Qi relaxing massage with the Ever Bloom fragrance: 1 hour and 30 minutes of heaven followed by tea and biscuits. Featuring a sauna, Turkish bath, swimming pool, salt cave and a private SPA that can be reserved for a couple experience, this structure was nominated at the World Luxury Spa Award 2016, and it certainly gets our vote!

QC Terme Milano. Porta Romana (Piazza Medaglie D’Oro, 2) conceals a small oasis of peace. Milan’s SPA by definition, is located behind the Spanish Walls and in its garden you’ll find different pools and a sauna inside a tram from the early 1900’s. The Liberty complex extends over 2,500 sq. m. and is divided between history and technology, in a relaxation itinerary featuring tubs, hydrojets, biosaunas, hammam, Turkish bath and areas where you can rest or  socialize. We love it especially at cocktail hour!

SKIN INC Store. Technically we are cheating, because this is not a real SPA, but you’ll forgive us! The Japanese brand arrived in Italy with a small store in Brera (via Fiori Chiari) featuring booths that offer treatments that are perfect for a lunch break. We’ve tried the Skin Inc Express Treatment, a super fast and super performing face treatment  that is ideal to gift yourself with, a moment of relaxation among the thousands of appointments during fashion week.

The SPA at Mandarin Oriental. The name is already a promise. Mandarin Oriental (Via Andegari, 9) is still one of the perfect destinations to soothe your senses and it offers one more excuse to do it: The Year of the Fire Monkey Spa Experience, a new treatment that is 1 hour and 50 minutes long and incorporates a selection of traditional elements to stimulate your senses, relax your mind and rejuvenate your body. TBS Crew loves it: at the end of the treatment you’ll be offered a sweet plum tea and a lai see, the traditional Chinese red envelope that includes the gift of another SPA treatment for 2016.

Armani SPA. This oasis of relaxation, beauty and elegance is located on the last floor of the Armani Hotel Milano (via Manzoni, 31), covered in glass. The structure’s philosophy revolves around the concept that creating a sequence of treatments that fits the time on your hands is possible, which makes it perfect for the little time you have in between events. All of this with an amazing view on the Duomo!
