Some days late here for you the complete outfit of my third day of New York fashionweek, that I wore for some fashionshows and for Fashiolista party. I also met Amy, Tibi designer, in her showroom, where I had a chance to have a better look at the new collection pieces, which were presented during the fashionshow on Saturday: lovely.
Of course photos of my last ny fashionshows couldn’t miss: here for you Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, two must of the american fashion system.
Ralph Lauren gives in the best way his point of view of how the New England style is evolving season by season. This time he took inspiration from British 20s: the first part of the show was focused on men’s closet, with sartorial plaid tailleurs, and the second part was focused on women’s closet, with long sprakling Art Decò gown
The last but not least show of this week was Calvin Klein’s. It was my first Calvin Klein show and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Every coat or dress was sober but with interesting cuts and the lenght at the knee of the pieces, follows the 50’s trend that started over last season.
Con qualche giorno in ritardo ecco per voi l’outfit completo del mio terzo giorno di fashionweek newyorkese, che ho indossato per alcune sfilate e per il party di Fashiolista. Sono stata anche ospite di Amy, la designer di Tibi, nel suo showroom dove, insieme a lei, ho potuto dare un’ulteriore occhiata ai look che sono stati presentati in sfilata lo scorso sabato: stupendi.
Non potevano poi mancare le foto delle ultime sfilate a cui ho assistito: Ralph Lauren e Calvin Klein, due miti della moda americana.
Ralph Lauren ci ha dato nel modo migliore, la sua visione di come lo stile New England si stia evolvendo stagione dopo stagione. Questa volta ha preso ispirazione dall’Inghilterra degli anni ’20: la prima parte dello show era concentrata sul guardaroba maschile, con tailleur a scacchi sartoriali, mentre la seconda parte si è focalizzata sul guardaroba femminile, con lunghi abiti scintillanti ispirati all’Art Decò.
Ultima ma non meno importante sfilata di questa settimana è stata quella di Calvin Klein. E’ stata la mia prima sfilata di Calvin Klein e devo dire che mi è piaciuta particolarmente. Ogni cappotto o vestito era sobrio ma dai tagli interessanti e la lunghezza al ginocchio dei vari pezzi segue il trend anni ’50 lanciato la scorsa stagione.
