Friday and Saturday were my last two days in New York and I lived them in every minute, running from one place to another one to show Matteo (who had never been there before) the beauties of this place. On Friday we had a very intense day: we went out from the hotel at 10 am and we got back after midnight. Our spots? Guggenheim museum, Central Park, Top of the rock (one of my favourite places in Manhattan, that I had visited the first time in September) and then downtown to visit Ground Zero, World Financial Centre, Wall Street and Brooklyn for my first time, to finish the day in Times Square to attend The Lion King musical, a real masterpiece (thanks to Tiffany and Liza, two followers from New Jersey for being so kind when they met me, it was so touching).
What to say? It was my 7th visit to New York and there is no other city which makes me feel the same way.
Venerdi e sabato sono stati i miei due ultimi giorni a New York e li ho vissuti fino all’ultimo istante, correndo da una parte all’altra per mostrare anche a Matteo (che non ci era mai stato prima) le meraviglie di questo posto. Venerdi abbiamo passato una giornata parecchio intensa: siamo usciti dall’hotel alle 10 del mattino, per poi tornarci solo a mezzanotte passata.
Le nostre tappe? Guggenheim museum, Central Park, Top of the rock (uno dei miei posti preferiti a Manhattan, in cui ero stata per la prima volta a Settembre) per poi scendere verso Downtown e visitare Ground Zero, World Financial Centre, Wall Street, Brooklyn per la mia prima volta e per finire Times Square, per assistere al musical The Lion King che mi ha lasciata senza parole (grazie a Tiffany e Liza, due follower del New Jersey per essere state cosi carine quando mi hanno incontrata, mi hanno davvero emozionata).
Che dire? Questa era la mia settima visita a New York e nessun posto mi fa sentire allo stesso modo.
