Yesterday we spent the whole day in London, going around and trying to taste all the particular things here even if the time was not long at all. We started in Oxford Street where we “visited” Topshop and Primark and then we went to Buckingham Palace, the Big Ben, the London eye, Piccadilly Circus.. We spent the afternoon in my favourite area ever: Portobello and Notting Hill (for those who asked me our hotel is called the Shaftesbury Hotel and I suggest it to all of you, small but very cosy). There I found some very nice vintage shops and other ones which were so distinctive, among them my favourite one was Appletree boutique, full of romantic dresses where I bought the one with the swallows, really similar to the new Miu Miu collection pattern. I also fell in love with the roses Dr. Martens, too cool! London is always amazing and I’m so sorry to already leave, even If I visited definitely more than this time with Richie in February 2009. when we spent more days. Anyway this afternoon we’re going to Amsterdam for Queen’s day, It’s gonna be crazy 😀
Abbiamo passato la giornata di ieri interamente a Londra, girovagando tra le varie zone e cercando di gustarci ancora tutte le particolarità della città anche se il tempo qui non è stato molto. Abbiamo cominciato con Oxford street dove abbiamo fatto un proficuo giro da Topshop e Primark per poi passare davanti a Buckingham palace, il Big Ben, London eye, Piccadilly Circus… Il pomeriggio invece lo abbiamo passato nella mia zona preferita in assoluto: Portobello e Notting Hill (per chi me lo ha chiesto l’hotel dove alloggiamo si chiama Shaftesbury Hotel e lo consiglio caldamente, piccolo ma molto accogliente). Qui ho trovato alcuni negozietti vintage carinissimi ed altri molto caratteristici, tra cui Appletree boutique, con vestitini molto romantici e particolari in cui ho comprato l’abito con le rondini la cui fantasia ricorda molto quella della nuova collezione di Miu Miu.
Mi sono anche innamorata delle Dr.Martens con le rose, stupende. Londra è sempre bellissima e mi dispiace tantissimo ripartire già oggi, nonostante l’avessi già visitata insieme a Richie a febbraio 2009 e fossi stata di più. Ma questo pomeriggio si va ad Amsterdam, proprio per il Queen’s day, sarà da pazzi 😀
