You may have heard before that fashion trends, just like beauty trends, never pop up out of the blue. They come in cycles, and they tend to show up again and again, season after season. People often say something is “back in fashion”, and makeup is no exception: the trend we are exploring today actually goes back to the roots of fashion. Wearing matching lipstick and polish was already a thing in the 1930s, when colors other than classic reds first became available. And today, matching lipstick and polish is hip again!
