In a few hours New York will host the Met Gala, the charity event that inaugurates the annual fashion exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Since 1972, the exhibition also provides the theme of the dress code for the evening and, during the past years, guests have gone all out wearing spectacular outfits (at times almost ridiculous!).
