Reportage of the sixth and last day of Milan Mercedes-Benz fashionweek, last Monday. For the look of the day I chose to wear a suit mixed to a Dsquared2 floral jacket, Gucci sandals, Hermes Kelly bag and Sal Y Limon new bangles from the winter collection.
Reportage del sesto ed ultimo giorno di Mercedes-Benz fashionweek di Milano, lunedi scorso. Per l’outfit del giorno ho scelto di indossare una tutina abbinata ad una giacca floreale di Dsquared2, sandali Gucci, borsa Kelly di Hermes ed i nuovi bangle della collezione invernale di Sal Y Limon.
The first fashionshow of the day was Dsquared2: a real show on the main theme of the Glastonbury festival, with mud on the catwalk and models walking with a beer in the hand. Loved the leather jackets, the embroidered vests and the Hunter boots in a heel version 😀
La prima sfilata della mattinata è stata quella di Dsquared2: un vero e proprio show sul tema del festival di Glastonbury, con fango in passerella e modelle con la birra in mano. Fantastiche le giacche in pelle, i gilet ricamati e gli stivali Hunter in versione tacco 😀
Giorgio Armani got inspired by mother-of-pearl and watery reflections for his collection: important fabric with more conceptual line of the garment, thin trousers mixed to different lenghts dresses, cascading over the body like water.
Particular choice of the shoes: flat shoes for night dresses and high heels for day dresses. In this case, Giorgio’s class is water, or at least he got inspired by it 🙂
Giorgio Armani si è ispirato alla madreperla ed ai riflessi dell’acqua per la sua collezione: tessuti importanti e linea semplice e concettuale, pantaloni sottili e spesso abbinati ad abiti di lunghezze diverse che scorrono lungo il corpo come acqua. Particolare la scelta delle scarpe: basse per gli abiti da sera e tacco alto invece per gli abiti da giorno. In questo caso la classe di Giorgio è acqua, o almeno è stata ispirata da questa 🙂
Roberto Cavalli fashionshow was the last fashionshow of the Milan fashionweek, among the ones I loved the most and completely different from the previous collections: long pleated dresses with prints and transparencies, sequins and glitter and real jewel-dresses mixed to classic blazers. I’m getting crazy for the golden jacket I took photos to, probably my favourite piece of the entire collection
La sfilata di Roberto Cavalli è stata l’ultima sfilata della settimana della moda milanese ed è tra quelle che mi è piaciuta di più, completamente diversa dalle precedente collezioni: lunghi abiti a balze e con stampe e trasparenze, paillettes, glitter e veri e propri vestiti gioiello, abbinati a blazer più classici. Sto letteralmente impazzendo per la giacca dorata che ho fotografato, forse il mio capo preferito dell’intera collezione
I then relaxed for the last moments in the Mercedes-Benz lounge at Palazzo Giureconsulti: one of my haven of peace to drink something, sit down and talk a bit in the fashionshows’ breaks.
Mi sono poi goduta gli ultimi istanti nella Mercedes-Benz lounge presso il Palazzo Giureconsulti: la mia oasi felice per bere qualcosa, sedermi e fare due chiacchiere tra una sfilata e l’altra.
