Visiting the most arid locations in the world without leaving the comfort of your armchair? That was exactly what the guests experienced at the closing night of the Face The Wild|Face The Camera project, organized by SK-II in a collaboration with National Geographic, to showcase the effectiveness of Pitera, the active ingredient that makes up 90% of SK-II’s Facial Essence Treatment, allowing your skin to stay crystal clear even in the most extreme weather conditions.
Chiara was one of the ambassadors, the project was made of two phases: during the first, Chiara trekked through the desert of Anza Borrego, and during the second one, shortly afterwards, she had a photoshoot to prove that the skin of her face was in no way damaged by the testing trek she had just finished, thanks to SK-II’s Facial Essence Treatment.
To celebrate the project, SK-II organized a two days event in Okinawa, Japan, during which media and influencers got the chance to visit the driest places in the world thanks to 5D augmented reality technology, that allowed them to travel across deserts, and jungles while the bravest and the finalist of Beauty Bound Season II tested the product during mini adventures that made them understand what Kasumi Arimura, Japanese actress and protagonist of Face The Wild|Face The Camera Expedition film, went through.
