Last photos from Milan fashionweek before leaving for Paris: they’re from Sunday and Monday shows, 5th and 6th day of Milan fashionweek, in addition to the Emilio Pucci fashionshow from Saturday night.
Emilio Pucci is always a great show, I always like how Peter Dundas designes the perfect silhouette of a woman. This time he focused on man wardrobe, but still the pieces were very sexy and sensual, especially the black dresses over the knee (like the one in leather worn by Natasha Poly) and the long dresses in the typical Pucci print. The Missoni show was quite long and it was focused on warm and earth colors. What caught my attention was the latex turtleneck corset under the clothes as a second skin in order to show up the neck shape. The Missoni woman choose ethnic pieces such as tribal copper jewels and wood print boots.
Frankie Morello was strong and rock’n’ roll more then ever: fur, fringes and studded shoes were the best pieces of the collection.
Salvatore Ferragamo was stunning: It was really classy and elegant, with a romantic gipsy touch. As a trend of next winter, the colors were quite sober such as black, dark blue, green and plum and the great use of velvet gave a taste of understated luxurious.
The great work of Donatella Versace with Christopher Kane gave a great result to Versus fashionshow from my point of view. The show was really nice and I especially liked the colors such as blue and fuchsia, and also the blu prints on the high boots.
The last day of Milan fashion week took me to the Giorgio Armani and Roberto Cavalli shows, two of the biggest name in Milan fashionweek calendar.
Giorgio Armani continued on the road of flat shoes, a travel that he started few days ago with the Emporio Armani show. In his opinion high heels are not necessary for an elegant woman. His last collection was truly elegant: with the great use of strong colors such as orange and pink, the show was a bit eccentric but not exaggerated.
The last show of this incredibly week was the Roberto Cavalli one. In this show there were all the Cavalli elements: animal prints, fur and luxurios leather. The Roberto Cavalli woman is strong and with personality. That’s why he choose as last model of the show one of the most strong personality of the fashion system: Naomi Campbell who walked the stage with elegance and confidence.

Pucci è sempre una delle mie sfilate preferite: mi piace come Peter Dundas disegna la perfetta silhouette di una donna. Questa volta si è soffermato sul guardaroba maschile, ma i capi restano comunque sexy e sensuali, specialmente i vestitini neri al ginocchio (come quello indossato da Natasha Poly in pelle) e i lunghi abiti nella tipica stampa di Pucci. La sfilata di Missoni è stata incentrata su colori caldi e della terra. Quello che ha catturato la mia attenzione è stato il corsetto dolcevita in latex sotto i vestiti, quasi come una seconda pelle in modo da esaltare la forma del collo. La donna Missoni ha scelto pezzi etnici come i gioielli in rame tribali e gli stivali a stampa legno.
Il secondo show della giornata è stato Frankie Morello: sempre molto forte e rock’n’roll più che mai: pelliccia, frange e scarpe borchiate sono stati gli aspetti migliori della collezione.
La terza sfilata è stata quella di Salvatore Ferragamo: magnifica. Davvero elegante e di classe, con un tocco gitano romantico. A confermare il trend del prossimo inverno, l’uso dei colori sobri come il nero, il blu scuro, il verde e il prugna, oltre al sapiente uso del velluto che ha dato un sapore di sobrio lusso.
L’ultimo show della giornata è stato quello di Versus. Il grande lavoro di Donatella Versace e Christopher Kane ha dato un ottimo risultato dal mio punto di vista. Mi son piaciuti particolarmente i colori come il blu e il fucsia, e anche le stampe blu sugli stivali alti.
L’ultimo giorno di fashionweek ho assistito alle sfilate di Giorgio Armani e Roberto Cavalli, due dei nomi più importanti tra gli stilisti italiani.
Giorgio Armani ha continuato sulla strada delle scarpe basse, un viaggio che ha iniziato qualche giorno fa con la sfilata di Emporio Armani. Per Giorgio i tacchi alti non sono necessari per esprimere l’eleganza di una donna. Col grande uso di colori forti come l’arancione e il rosa, lo show è stato leggermente eccentrico ma assolutamente non esagerato.
L’ultimo show di questa incredibile settimana è stato quello di Roberto Cavalli. In questa sfilata erano presenti tutti gli elementi cari a Cavalli: stampe animali, pelliccia e pelli pregiate. La donna Roberto Cavalli è forte e con una grande personalità. Ecco perchè ha scelto come ultima modella dello show una delle personalità più forti del mondo della moda: Naomi Campbell che ha sfilato con eleganza e sicurezza.
