Happy 2nd birthday The Blonde Salad!

Two years ago, after publishing for a couple of years my looks on Flickr, I decided It was the right time to start a new adventure and helped from Richi who was in Chicago for an internship at the time and who helped me with the first template, I opened The Blonde Salad. Mine was at the time one of the only italian personal-style blogs and, thanks to people talking to other people about it and thanks to the users who already knew me from Flickr, the blog immediately caught the attention of the media, bringing me in the fashion market with my first job with Benetton, then with my first interviews on magazines and newspapers and then with all the success I could have never thought achieving just sharing my passions and looks on the web.
Two years later after that 12th October 2009 I can say I lived some unforgettable experiences, that I would have never lived If I didn’t decide to share my passions on the web, If I didn’t decide to take a risk (because there are travels, collaborations, jobs and satisfactions but also critics of course), my life would be totally different right now.
Dream and believe in your wishes until the end, do the best of you to make them become true and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.. Think how my life would be different if, on that 12th October, I didn’t open this blog. It’s worth risking, isn’t it?
Thanks to all of you for these 730 days, 13 hours, 50 minutes and 24 seconds together..
Happy second anniversary The Blonde Salad!

Buon secondo compleanno The Blonde Salad!
