Second day of Mercedes-Benz fashion week Milan, here how it went…
Seconda giornata di Mercedes-Benz fashion week Milano, ecco come è andata…
The first fashionshow scheduled was MaxMara, in which I only took horrible photos, sorry about that. On the catwalk we found a reinterpretation of the classic british look which becomes new thans to new shapes and fur appliqués, zips, buckles and fringing. Maybe the only fashionshow among the ones I attended in which the colours were neutral, despite all the other brands using fluo colours.
La prima sfilata in programma è stata quella di MaxMara, di cui ho purtroppo solo foto di pessima qualità, scusatemi ma non sono riuscita a fare di meglio. In passerella troviamo una reinterpretazione del classico british look che si rinnova grazie a nuove forme ed applicazioni in zip, fibbie, frange e inserti di pelliccia. Forse l’unica sfilata tra quelle a cui ho assistito in cui i colori erano neutri, a differenza del grande utilizzo dei “fluo colours” dalla maggior parte degli altri brand.
A huge use of hot colours mixed together was made at Blugirl, where on the catwalk I saw trench and coats, foulards and orange details (one of the colours I love the most at the moment, and soon you’ll understand why), combinations of yellow, bluette, fucsia and the must-have fluo furs
Grosso uso di colori molto forti mescolati insieme è invece stato fatto nella sfilata di Blugirl, dove in passerella ho visto cappotti e trench a taglio vivo, foulard e dettagli arancioni (uno dei colori che al momento preferisco, e dopo ne capirete il perchè), combinazioni di giallo, bluette fucsia e le immancabili pellicce dalle tonalità insolite.
I finally find an hour to spend with Angie and Veronica. The outfit I used in the morning (soon I’ll show you the “official” photos) was made by Jucca cape, American Apparel maxi skirt, jeffrey Campbell wedges and transparent Furla bag (and I’ll also have to talk to you about this 😀 ).
Ho finalmente trovato un’oretta da passare insieme ad Angie e Veronica. Il mio outfit utilizzato la mattina (di cui presto vi mostrerò le foto “ufficiali”) era formato da cappa di Jucca, maxi gonna di American Apparel, zeppe Jeffrey Campbell e borsa di Furla trasparente (ed anche di questa vi dovrò decisamente parlare 😀 ).
The third fashionshow of the day was Ermanno Scervino, in which I liked the bottons on the back of knits and dresses and the ecofur for scarves and accessories, that I understood was fake only once I read it at home.
La terza sfilata del giorno è stata quella di Ermanno Scervino, di cui ho apprezzato particolarmente le allacciature sulla schiena di maglioni e vestitini ela eco pelliccia in tricot utilizzata per cappucci, bordi, manicotti, colli ed accessori, che ho scoperto essere ecologica solo dopo aver letto la cartella stampa.
For the afternoon, after I found the perfect tights for the outfit I had in mind, I decided to change clothes and experiment 100% color block: purple coat (the one you’ve already seen here that in these photos look electric blue :S ) plus some boughts from London. Among them the orange dress from Cos, the bicolor shoes by Carvela and the Marc by Marc Jacobs clutch. I love the result, what do you say about it? Do you like wearing so many colours together

Per il pomeriggio, dopo aver trovato i collants perfetti per l’outfit che avevo in mente, ho deciso di cambiarmi e sperimentare al 100% il color block: cappotto viola scuro (quello che avevo già utilizzato qui ma che in queste foto sembra blu elettrico :S ) più alcuni acquisti fatti a Londra. Tra questi il vestitino arancione di Cos, le scarpe bicolore di Carvela e la clutch di Marc by Marc Jacobs. Io adoro il risultato, voi cosa ne dite? Vi piace abbinare cosi tanti colori insieme?

The fourth fashionshow was Krizia, in which I saw some strange pieces like the maxi shoulderpads coats and also stranger items like the trousers/skirt in which one leg was naked while the other one was inside the trouser. And the same thing experimented on dresses and suits.
La quarta sfilata è stata quella di Krizia, che ha proposto sia capi eccentrici ma portabili come i cappotti con le maxi spalline sia capi mai visti prima, come i pantaloni/gonna in cui una gamba rimaneva nuda mentre l’altra aveva le sembianze di un normale pantalone. E la stessa cosa sperimentata su vestitini e tute.
Prada was of course spectacular, Miuccia created an innovatice collection taking some things from the past. A catwalk up and down on different levels, in which almost all the models were wearing high socks matched to shoes with a strange heel. Also saw glitter and snake hats/helmets and aviator sunglasses, ecofur inserts for dresses and snake skin in different colours in all the accessories. Really wonderful.
Prada è stata naturalmente spettacolare, Miuccia ha creato una collezione innovativa pur prendendo spunti dal passato. Una passerella su più livelli, in cui quasi tutte le modelle indossavano parigine dalle tonalità più disparate, abbinate a decollete con il tacco rientrante di tutti i colori. In sfilata anche cuffie/elmetti brillanti e di serpente abbinati ad occhiali quasi da aviatore, vestiti con inserti di ecofur e pelle pitonata utilizzata in diversi colori su tutti gli accessori. Splendida davvero.
The last fashionshow of the day was Anteprima, with classic shapes and with the bordeaux, grey, peacock and olive colours. Loved the cut ankle boots 🙂
