MBFW Milan: day 4

DSC_0132 copia

Finally the diary of the 4th day of Mercedes-Benz fashionweek Milan, last Saturday.
The morning started with Emporio Armani fashionshow, whose main theme was “spy”. Each look presented (most of them were total black with some colours) looked mysterious, as each of them was telling a different story. I particularly appreciated the jumpsuits with full trousers cut as sharp as a blade, the raw-edge finishes and sculptured jackets with hidden or covered buttons.

The second fashionshow of the day was Frankie Morello, which was so different and beautiful. A 50’s ispiration for hair and sartorial tradition, in contrast with the masculinity of the outerwear on the catwalk. Really loved the appearance of hair curler accessories refer to the stereotype of America’s ideal wife, ironically becoming thousands of precious golden hairdresses’s clips applied to trains and gowns. I got crazy for the shoe headband, seriously wanna wear it 🙂

The third fashionshow was Roberto Cavalli, located at Arco della pace. Long and fluffy dresses which, in addition to the classic animalier prints of the maison, become lamé and get surrounded by flowers. Loved the fur jackets and the feathers accessories.

Before going to the Emilio Pucci fashionshow I went to Villa Necchi in the centre of Milan, where I was invited for a cocktail with Diego Della Valle (such a lovely man) to see some pieces of the new collection.
You can probably guess my face when I saw the “travel wardrobe” 😀

It then was the time of the Emilio Pucci fashionshow, a real joy for my eyes. On the catwalk the first looks were classic, with coloured trousers and militar jackets, and then they became long dresses with one of the famous patterns of the maison. The most wonderful dress was the one entirely made of feathers, but I’ll let the images speak 🙂

The day ended with Philipp Plein fashionshow and party, organized in a deconsacrated church. Among the pieces I enjoyed the most there are the leopard jackets, the man coats and the shoes, which really are killer.
I then had a traditional italian dinner with Carolina, Mattias, Richie, Angie, Pardis, Ludivine and Edo 🙂
