Here is my “reportage” of last Friday, second day of the Mercedes Benz fashion week New York 🙂
The day started at the highest floor of the Standard hotel (Yes, do you remember about it? I was there last April for Benetton) at 10 for a private brunch organized by Gucci which involved some international bloggers. A round table to get to know each other, which I found really interesting. If you also add that I’m in love with the Standard Hotel you’ll understand how much I enjoyed this initiative.

Ecco il “reportage” dello scorso venerdi, secondo giorno della Mercedes Benz fashion week New York 🙂
La giornata è cominciata all’ultimo piano dello Standard hotel (si, ve lo ricordate? Ero li lo scorso Aprile per Benetton) alle 10 per un private brunch organizzato da Gucci che ha coinvolto alcuni blogger internazionali. Una specie di tavola rotonda per conoscerci meglio, che ha dato spunti molto interessanti. Se poi aggiungete che io sono follemente innamorata dello Standard Hotel capirete quanto l’iniziativa mi sia piaciuta.

Right after brunch it was the turn of the lunch with Nine West crew, located at “The Lambs Club”, another restaurant I had never tried before that I suggest you!
Subito dopo il brunch è stato il turno di un pranzo con lo staff di Nine West, precisamente al “The Lambs Club”, altro ristorante mai provato prima che devo assolutamente consigliarvi!
At 3 I attended Rebecca Minkoff fashionshow, and I really didn’t take any nice pictures so I apologize from now (but yesterday was so much better at the Philosophy fashionshow in which I had a better place). The catwalk looks were really more easier and more casual than the ones we’re used to see in the european fashionshows, and they all were easy to use. My favourites were the long leopard skirt (yes, I’m in a leopard period) and the silver blazer 🙂

Alle 3 ho assistito alla sfilata di Rebecca Minkoff, per la quale non sono proprio riuscita a fare foto decenti, e per questo mi scuso da ora (ma ho rimediato ieri con le foto della sfilata di Philosophy in cui ero in un’ottima posizione). I look da sfilata erano molto più semplici di quelli che siamo abituati a vedere nelle catwalk europee, ed erano tutti assolutamente portabili. I miei preferiti sono stati la lunga gonna leopardata (si, ho decisamente un momento-leopardo) ed il blazer argentato 🙂

My daily outfit? Comfortable (I promise I wore another pair of ankle boots yesterday, but these ones are the most easy to use that I’ve ever owned), with some new Seven for all mankind pieces (printed jeans and swarovski collar), the new American Apparel parka which is good for the cold and a touch of red lipstick on my lips: this is by Diego Dalla Palma
Il mio outfit del giorno? Comodo (vi giuro che ieri ho messo un altro paio di tronchetti, ma questi sono i più sfruttabili che io abbia mai posseduto), con alcuni nuovi pezzi di Seven for all mankind (i jeans stampati ed il meraviglioso colletto con swarovski), il nuovo parka di American Apparel (che fortunatamente resiste al freddo) ed un tocco di rossetto sulle labbra: questo è di Diego Dalla Palma
The last fashionshow of the day was Nicole Miller: I didn’t enjoy a lot the first pieces but I really have to admit I enjoyed the last ones, like the metallic trousers and skirt.
L’ultima sfilata del giorno è stata quella di Nicole Miller, di cui non ho particolarmente apprezzato le prime uscite ma mi sono in parte ricreduta per alcuni degli ultimi pezzi, tra cui pantaloni e gonna a palloncino metallizzati.
The day ended with a maxi dinner with all the guys from Fashiolista at the Antique Garage, another delicious find.
La giornata si è conclusa con una maxi cena con tutti i ragazzi di Fashiolista all’Antique Garage, altra nuova e deliziosa scoperta.
