Last Saturday started the Men Milan fashionweek: after a morning spent studying I attended two fashionshows I really cared about, Frankie Morello and Roberto Cavalli. It was the first time I was taking part in men fashionshows, that I always thought too far from my taste and from what I usually talk about on my blog, and that was a huge mistake. This time I understood that also men fashionshows can inspire a woman’s taste, especially in the choice of the details and of the accessories. In Frankie Morello fashionshow I loved the idea of the ripped jackets, of the oversize ponchos, of the plaid bags, of the knitted jackets and especially of the turbans as new winter head gears. What to say about the crochets on the scarf and turban like the work wasn’t ready yet? 🙂
Big thumbs up also for the dancers and performers exhibition, they enriched the fashionshow like It was a real theatre work. A big thanks to Filippo for lending me his wonderful lens, i managed to take some photos which are almost good and not blurry from the first row 😀
Roberto Cavalli’s fashionshow was more classic but at the same time very innovative: models became cowboys and I particularly loved the accessories of the show: feathers necklaces, camperos boots and horn bracelets.
My outfit? I opted for simplicity to give importance to the Philipp Plein leather jacket, which now is the best I own I think.
The day ended with a dinner with some of my closest friends, and also Daniel and Caroline joined us 😀

Lo scorso sabato si è aperta a Milano la settimana della moda maschile: dopo una mattinata di studio mi sono concessa alcune ore di pausa per assistere a due sfilate a cui tenevo particolarmente, quella di Frankie Morello e quella di Roberto Cavalli. Era la prima volta che partecipavo a sfilate maschili, che ho sempre evitato pensando erroneamente fossero troppo lontane dai miei gusti stilistici e da quello che racconto quotidianamente mediante questo mio blog.
Questa volta ho scoperto che mi sbagliavo, e che anche le sfilate maschili possono ispirare un pubblico femminile, soprattutto nella scelta dei dettagli e degli accessori. Nella sfilata di Frankie Morello per esempio ho trovato ottima l’idea delle giacche tagliate in punti strategici, dei poncho oversize, della borsa/plaid, dei ricami tipici dei maglioni su un completo assolutamente classico e soprattutto dei turbanti come nuovi copricapi invernali. Che dire poi degli uncinetti attaccati a sciarpa e cuffia, come se il lavoro non fosse ancora finito? 🙂 Bellissima anche l’esibizione di danzatori e performer che hanno arricchito la sfilata come una vera e propria opera teatrale. Grazie a Filippo per avermi prestato il suo fantastico obbiettivo, grazie al quale sono riuscita a scattare foto quasi decenti e non troppo sfocate dalla prima fila 😀
La sfilata di Roberto Cavalli è stata più classica ma al tempo stesso molto innovativa: i modelli si sono improvvisati in veri e propri cowboy ed io ho particolarmente apprezzato gli accessori dello show: cappelli, collane di piume, camperos e bracciali con ciondoli in osso.
Il mio outfit?Ho puntato sulla semplicità dando importanza alla giacca di pelle di Philipp Plein, regina incontrastata tra tutte le mie leather jackets ormai.
La giornata si è conclusa con cena insieme ad alcuni dei miei più cari amici, a cui si sono aggiunti anche Daniel e Caroline 😀
