I’m in Paris for fashionweek from Saturday night and I couldn’t be any happier: the weather is perfectly fall (so I’m allowed to wear hats, beanies and coats and keep my legs without tights that I hate), the sun shines and the fashionshows are real shows.
The first one I attended was Kenzo on Sunday morning: If I already appreciated Marras’ work, I can honestly say I fell in love with the collections designed by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. This collection was beautiful and inspirational: tropical prints, different cuts and bright colours were the main characters at Kenzo show organized at Maison Du Judo.
I took advantage of the cold weather to wear the beanie I found some weeks ago at Liberty London (I know is that kind of accessory which can’t be loved by everyone but I adore it), mixing it with Zara maxi Varsity jacket, Kenzo iconic jumper and Karl vernis booties. I posed for these photos in one of my favourite squares (in Paris and in the world in general): Place Vendome. The perfect frame.
Sono a Parigi per la fashionweek da sabato sera e non potrei essere più felice: il clima è perfettamente autunnale (mi è quindi permesso indossare cuffie, cappelli e giacche e tenere le gambe nude senza doverle ricoprire dai collant che odio), il sole splende e le sfilate sono sempre dei veri e propri show.
La prima a cui ho assistito è stata quella di Kenzo Domenica mattina: se già apprezzavo il lavoro di Marras, posso dire di essermi innamorata dal primo istante delle collezioni disegnate da Humberto Leon e Carol Lim. Questa collezione non è stata da meno: stampe tropicali e tagli insoliti, forme ampie e colori forti sono stati i protagonisti della passerella di Kenzo, organizzata alla Maison du Judo.
Ho approfittato del calo delle temperature per indossare la cuffia che ho trovato da Liberty a Londra qualche settimana fa (so che è quel tipo di accessorio che non piace a tutti, ma io la trovo meravigliosa), mixandola con maxi varsity jacket di Zara, felpa iconica di Kenzo e stivaletti Karl in vernice. Ho posato per queste foto in una delle piazze che preferisco (a Parigi e nel mondo): Place Vendome. Una cornice perfetta.
